High Ocean Republic Competition​

What's the Deal?

Okay *cough* I am looking for the most insane, most awesome, most epic... logo. Not just any logo, this will be the High Ocean Republic Wifi Clan Logo.

I'm looking for something clean yet very artistic.

PRIZES?!?
The prize(s) you will receive:

• A special high five from highfive himself
• Shout out on the clan's premier combo video and all other videos, even blooper reels
• Logo on the front page of our clan website
• Perhaps on our signatures (up to the clan members)

The 1st and 2nd place were very close, therefore I'm giving a few consolation prizes to second place.

ENTRIES!!!​

Creativity- 5/5 stars It's a lovely logo. The wave flowing out of the circle was indeed creative! The lighting used on the circle itself was also great!

Judge Appeal- 5/5 stars Very straight forward, the judges liked everything.

Use of Color- 4/5 stars Good gravy! The colors flowed very good. The only slight problem was the text not matching together perfectly although it did match the overall feel

Font Design- 4/5 stars Good font, although it's overused on SWF with several signatures.

Picture Design (does not affect overall score): Very clean picture. It is well made and has no flaws whatsoever. 5/5 stars
Overall Score: 18/20

Creativity- 4/5 stars The little palm tree and island? Epic stuff.

Judge Appeal- 3/5 stars The font was hard to read and sadlt the picture was off on a few things.

Use of Color- 3/5 stars The colors were fine but the colors of the text made it hard to read

Font Design- 3/5 stars It may be a good font but it's difficult reading it

Picture Design (does not affect overall score): The picture was a bit messy but still neat! 3/5 stars
Overall Score: 13/20

Creativity- 3/5 stars There could have been more than just waves for the design but still pleasant.

Judge Appeal- 3/5 stars The logo itself was messy and is actually 3 different pictures. There are also stray pixels around the image.

Use of Color- 3/5 stars The colors fit well enough but could have been used better overall

Font Design- 3/5 stars Although no true font it still is very readable.

Picture Design (does not affect overall score): Messy but still good if done freehand. 3/5 stars
Overall Score: 15/20

Creativity- 5/5 stars A remarkable logo! The wave and lighting effects really made this a great logo!

Judge Appeal- 4/5 stars It was very good although the logo's box did make it very slightly unappealing

Use of Color- 4/5 stars Very good use of color! The colors mixed well although the text color made it a bit harder to see with the water effect.

Font Design- 4/5 stars Very clean looking font. It was also elegant but the text was slightly misaligned.

Picture Design (does not affect overall score): N/A
Overall Score: 17/20​

This technically should've been in the Sig Shoppe(since it's about making a sig). You probably would've gotten entries had you posted in there, too.

Ok we'll give it a try. At least this way, people in both forums see it.

Also, it helps having a sig advertising your competition with a link so it gets more exposure around the boards =)
