You're probably already thinking that I've been inspired by Cosmo, and you'd be right :)

I actually tried a couple OoT no damage runs a few years back...never had much success, though. Since Cosmo has that locked down right now, I obviously needed to pick a different game. I don't know MM well enough to make an impressive run through, and LttP is just too **** hard for this sort of thing, so I decided to go with Link's Awakening, incidentally the first Zelda game I played.

I've spent all the past week (and I do mean pretty much ALL, I'm out of school and don't have a job) running through the game and focusing on tough parts, and I'm convinced that if I can hold my nerve for a little over two hours, I can pull this off. Livestreaming should help with that, since if I mess up there, it's not just me kicking myself for it. Streaming should start sometime this weekend.

In case anyone's interested, by current record is getting hit by a fireball in tal tal heights on my way to angler's tunnel.

Here are the rules I've set for myself:

-No warping glitches.
-No memory manipulation glitches (basically, nothing that lets you get an item outside of the place you're supposed to get it).
-Damage taken while holding a guardian acorn, even if it does not show on the life bar, is still grounds for a failed challenge.
-...anything I missed?

Alright, the channel is live, a few bugs have been worked out, and I'm planning on starting the game in a little over half and hour.. Wish me luck >>

Also, I'm running this on VBA, because I didn't think anyone would really want to watch my webcam point at a tiny tiny gameboy screen for this.

EDIT: All done. I lived like a hero, died like a *******...i walked into an Octorok's rock on the way to Kanalet Castle. Still, I got through Tail Cave, Bottle Grotto, and the Color Dungeon, so I'm doing okay.

I'll practice a bit more before putting this up again.
