This isn't a thread to be taken seriously, it's just for kicks. This is inspired by Sakurai's last post on the DOJO. Besides, you may learn something....or not. Heck, some of this stuff doesn't even count as trivia. If anyone feels like adding to the fun, post anything and I'll consider it. Enjoy

Link trivia

~Link can block all projectiles heading his way by just standing still (just his body). He can also crouch down for the same affect. All but his head is protected from projectiles and he can even block rolling crates rolling towards him, but only if he's facing left (weird huh?). Of course he can't block projectiles caused by Final Smashes, that's a no brainer.

~Link can use his grab move as a tether recovery, but he is only able to latch on a ledge 3 times in a row while airborne. If Link reaches the third latching, His clawshot will fail to grab the ledge the next time.

~Link's Gale Boomerang only effects and pull the following objects..

-Crate
-Barrel
-Capsule
-Party Ball
-Sandbag
-Metal Box
-Bob-Ombs
-Gooey Bomb
-Deku Nut
-Freezie
-Green Shell
-Hot-head
-Smartbomb
-Soccer Ball
-Unira
-Blast Box

Other than that, Link's boomerang doesn't pull in any other items.

~The damage of Link's bombs depends on how fast the bomb is traveling at. Down throwing Link's bomb causes the most damage.

~The power of Link's second forward smash attack now depends on how much your charge up the first one. For example, if don't charge up the f-smash, Link will only cause 15 damage on the first strike and 17 damage on the second swing. However, If you fully charge his f-smash he will dish out 21 on the first swing and 23 on the second causing a total max of 44 damage. Even with a standing cpu in training mode its very hard to hit with both fully charged hits seeing as how the first f-smash has strong knockback when at full power. Unless you're fighting a heavy character, then your good.

~Link's Forward Smash has a small minimum chance of causing opponents to auto-trip.

~When Link's Gale Boomerang reaches it's peak of distance the boomerang will (for a second or two) push opponents away instead of pulling or hurting them.

~Fast-falling will cause Link's D-air to pass through enemies. Not doing so will allow Link to bounce off his opponents if he lands the D-air. Fast-falling DOES NOT increase damage caused by his D-air, but IT WILL increase your chances of scoring higher damage seeing as the the start of the Link's D-air causes the most damage. This means if you short-hop the D-air without fast-falling and land two clean hits, you will cause a total of 30 percent damage. Epic!

~Link's D-tilt acts as a meteor smash, just make sure to hit under the blade. Link's wrist has the best chance of scoring a meteor. Also, it may sound strange, but it seems that the second half of the D-tilt frames is the part that spikes, if you can time it. This means you don't hit with the D-tilt the second your opponent reaches the stage, but more like a split-second before they reach the stage. Practicing on Sandbag works best. Just pop him up and D-tilt to your heart's desire. If you can score a hit with the second-half the D-tilt, it doesn't matter where Link hits with the blade. It'll always spike.

~Link's F-Smash is longer than Marth's. By: Villi

That's all I have for now. Please post your own thoughts into what counts as trivia. If not, just for the fun of it. :)

Me nether actually. I'm just in weird mood today. I know I'm not funny, but I just keep on going for some reason. I should really stop though.

I'm not sure that Link's Hylian Shield can block the enemies in the Mario Bros. stage if they are thrown as projectiles. Then again, a regular character shield doesn't seem to work either.
