How much time do you people usually spend on here (or the internet in general)? I'd like to know personally, and compare certain things. I know there are probably other threads like this(hell I'm even sure of it), but I want to know what the casual forum poster says off the top of their head. Because I most likely have you all beat by my record of 26 hours in one sitting (yeah, I have no life).

holy **** 26 hours in one sitting?! the longest ive been on here in one sitting is probably about an hour or so of continous posting.

as far as the internet goes, i use the internet probably around 45 hours a week. and im on smashboards probably around maybe 10 a week?

Ew, this thread made me realize how lame I am.

I think I'm online for more than 5 hours a day. An hour in the morning, afternoon, and three at night.

I think my record in one sitting would probably be 8 hours. I can't imagine me doing that, but I'm sure it's happened at least once.

Nice, yeah, I seriously have no life. There's a sea of mountain dew cans on the floor, and my computer sounds and looks like a freaking typewriter. It's really loud, it's gigantic, and the modem has to be cooled down sometimes because of overheating it. YYYYYYEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH. Not good, and most certaintly not healthy.

I'm pretty much addicted to the Internet. I'm on during school, at home, and pretty much whenever there's a computer around. Sometimes, if things are password protected, I'll stick in my Ubuntu LiveCD and get on that way. I keep a Linux CD in my bookbag at all times. I used to have a MiniCD in my wallet with Damn Small Linux, but I lost it. I actually used it about 10 times at people's houses.

Oh man, I just realized how weird that is.

Well, I'm not really addicted in the sense that I'll go on the Internet instead of doing more important things, but whenever I have some time to burn, I'll always get on the tubes.

It depends, I'm usually elsewhere and just constantly checking back here to see what's going on. I usually only go on here for around an hour straight a day, and then probably around another hour or so from the time I switch back

Pretty much, I'm a moderator so I have to keep checks on the forum games to make sure no one posts a pornography thread or stuff, though I was doing that before I became a mod, so it's not much of an excuse

Heh, how often does that happen, really? What kind of stuff do you have to close?

The worst I've seen is people making duplicate topics and I think I saw one racist thread that was deleted.

About 90% of the threads I close are due to people making threads that aren't games (counting is not a game, listing is not a game). The other ten percent is duplicate or the few addbot/spam threads

If I had nothing else to do, I would be on the internet 24/7. I've stayed awake for well over three days continuously before, so I would easily be able to be on the internet for 80 hours straight.

My parents wouldn't let me do that, though.

well.. i like to check smashboards several times during the day, but i don't usually stay for too long.. maybe an hour a day..

as for total online time.. i estimate about 18-20 hours a week.. most of that is WoW time, and that's even on a GOOD week.. i wish i had more time on the comp.. but with school/extra-curriculars/mom/other people who use the comp.. i don't get that much time

Pornography normally takes up most of my main time on the internet. But I spend some on this site.

Since I started browsing 4chan my time on the internet has increased exponentially. On a place like Smashboards, the topics would eventually stop getting posted in for the day because most Americans have gone to sleep. So, I'd get bored and do something else. However, 4chan never stops getting posted in. People are always online, always posting. It's a neverending supply of intertube entertainment.
