Life is... quite unforgiving

Well, last night I woke up at about 11 to my stepmother crying...
A good friend had just been killed.

2 years ago, my stepsister passed away in a car accident. The guy driving took a turn too fast - in an SUV - and they lost control, and slammed into a pole. She was the only one who died, at 17 years old.

Now, her best friend, also a close friend of my stepbrother, died in a car accident last night. From what I heard, they cut off some guy, about 50 years old, who got pissed and decided he was going to try and return the favor.
I don't know what happened from there, but... just use your imagination.

Kristi Riggins passed away, and three others that were in the car are in critical condition. Supposedly her boyfriend is now brain-dead. He was brought to Duke Hospital.

Because of road rage.

Cars are very dangerous things.

I'm sorry to hear that so many people you know have passed away.

I really hate how the one who's driving the offending vehicle is ALWAYS the one who walks away. I've yet to hear about a drunk/enraged driver being the one who's hurt, it's always the innocent.

Silly grown-ups, cut offs are for reckless teenagers!

But with all due seriousness, I'm sorry to hear such things, must be quite the burden...

This is sad, whenever the innocent get hurt by a drunk/reckless/angry driver, it just sickens me because sometimes they don't get punished to the fullest extent, may your friend rest in peace.

I find it funny how many people stay away from fake sugar to avoid cancer, yet have no fear driving in cars. Cars are SO messed up.

I'm down to 1 grandparent. You start with 4, right. My dad's mom passed away before I was even born, I never even got a chance to meet her. A few weeks ago, my mom's dad was trying to cut down a tree, he was up on a ladder when a branch swung and hit him off. He fell head first onto concrete and had to call and ambulence. He went to the local hospital, but his pain was so terrible, he had to be moved to the city's best hospital. Unfortunately the pain forced him to not eat, talk, or do anything. He didn't even want to listen to the radio, which was his favourite thing to do. He had broken many bones and gotten diseases in his vital organs from the accident. At 10:oopm, we got a phone call that said he passed away, it was horrible.. As for my dad's dad, he only has a few months left. Hes losing his life to cancer and expected to die in months. As for my moms mom, shes fine now but I just know that something bads going to happen after all this. Wanna know the worst part? They live on Vancouver Island, B.C. And I live halfway across the country in Hamilton, Ontario. The only time I saw them was last summer when I went on a plane to visit them. (we had met before when I was like 3, but I could hardly talk). So yeah, thats my story. I know how you feel.

when one is drunk during an accident they are more likely to survive due to their reflexes being slower and they dont try to brace themselves during a crash. when youre not drunk you may hold out your arms and that will shatter all your bones and often kill you.

People die. Some people die young. It's unfair if it happens to people you know, but at least you still have all your limbs and senses, so get over it.

You'll get no sympathy from me.

It is forgiving. Stop saying things like that.

Sorry to hear the losses.
I can't stand reckless drivers or those who let their emotions take ahold of everyone elses lives. It's not worth it and in the end that person will regret everything.

People need to learn to drive.

If God has given you more than you can handle, then for you, life sucks. Sorry, but you're not the only one. You have two options. Play the hand you're dealt or forfeit the game. I know you'll choose the former, because it isn't that bad.
