Inspired by this thread (over at Famiboards) - I also thought this idea would be worth bringing over here too!

This fan art of Ayumi Tachibana from Famicom Detective Club is a notable example for now - in that picture I'm advertising for... (I lost count, haha), she is equipped with mostly summer themed gear (it's also worth noting her skin tone is tanned as well to go along with the summer vibes).
As much as I was willingly happy with my commission there, I'm in fact the founding father behind this concept! It was meant to predict a new Famicom Detective Club game if it were revolved around Ayumi tackling a case on a hot, tropical summer vacation. I would've titled it as "Famicom Detective Club: The Shadow Over Paradise". This name idea would suggest a perpetrator being a shadow esque character (no, not Shadow the Hedgehog, haha).
I'd also imagine the game would also be sprinkled with some romance (where Ayumi would find love eventually being married and having children as the ending), as well as some usual cute humor in tact with previous Detective Club games (while I'd typically refrain from mentioning particular Emio spoilers - players would see scenes of Ayumi going on dinner dates chatting with her boyfriend) and I can see the devs getting away with some fan service thrown in too (in this way, the M-rating may likely stay in tact). I can't also forget that there'd include numerous Nintendo dedicated cameos too as far back from the Nintendo toy industry to the Famicom era (especially an adorable Diskun pillow).
A notable character I'd also like to mention would be a hypothetical animal companion (akin to the likes of Otachi from Pikmin and Sommie from Fire Emblem).
For a fun fact, I conceptualized that particular Ayumi appearance back in February 2024. In a sense, this is almost like I predicted we'd see new Famicom Detective Club games from the ground-up before the Emio teaser surfaced prior to being revealed as a new Detective Club game. While it was indeed a blessing to see dormant IPs like this get new games in a long time, I was insanely astonished and Emio was an instant day one pre-order for me. Here's to hoping we see Ayumi for the next Super Smash Bros. (knowing she was previously considered for Melee), I would kindheartedly welcome her addition seeing as she'd have a mind-boggling moveset.
