Agreed, I actually did statistics based on my personal enjoyment of each episode out of 10, and averaging all of it in, Season 4 had the highest at just under 8.75/10 average, has the longest string of above average episodes (not 9/10 or above episodes, that goes to Season 2), and was the largest jump in average by over .2. Season 4 was totally my favorite, then Season 3 and 2 are about tied, then Season 1 for me. Season 4 actually has two episodes I gave 10/10, the only season I've done that for.

I must say Season 4 was the best, though that may change with Season 5
followed by 2
Then 1
and lastly, 3. But 3 had some really AMAZING episodes. Just not too many AMAZING ones.

For me, every season improves upon the last, less so 3 with 2, but still did. I expect Season 5 to do the sate, especially after what I've seen with the animatic and two spoilers in the trailers. I am super excited, if only it didn't come out in Spring.

I think Season 3's lack of many AMAZING episodes was due to it only being 13 episodes long to finish syndication. It really hurt it and could've been much better if it had 26 like the others. Keep Calm and Flutter On could've been a 2 PARTER, MMC maybe even a 3 PARTER with what it had, would've been amazing! But alas.
