lesser non-unlockable characters

something has been bugging me for some time... why the ones u unlock with cheats are waaaaay weaker than the originals, well i think u must change the status of ur character some way to increase the damage needed to knock u down, but the problem is how?, i think anyone here may have fought metal mario with metal mario with the cheats, well CPUs one gets knocked down on 300% of damage while yours in 60%.
so the point is that DOES ANYONE KNOWS ANY WAY OF CHANGING MODIFYING UR STATUS, OR A CHEAT TO MAKE U STRONGER, OR ANY OTHER WAY (i mean any character individually not only metal mario).

lol I was kidding, my point is that no character is weak if you master him enough. Who are you to say how good i am anyway, we never played, dont judge me for some stupid youtube vids

im talking literally, the way they r programed not the expierence u have, ive gone through the game in very hard with 1 live and agaisnt 3 players of lvl 9 and won, JUST PLEASE STICK TO THE POINT, cause then this thread will be filled with useless comments (-no offense- i just want responses that help me)

And who is JamieHR? and how do i find him?

If you want good responses, say things that make sense. Your posts are scattered, and hard to read. Try reading them out loud before you hit "Submit Reply".


The reason the characters at the end, or "cheats unlock" are better is because they are supposed to be "bosses".

dude everyone who replied me understood the point fairly well but gave me plain responses, and dont come to me saying that the point isnt written well, its on capital letters!
and the "bosses" are better cause theyve been programed with higher knock out percentage, my question is the same... HOW DO YOU GET IN THE CHARACTER'S STATUS TO MODIFY IT AND RAISE YOUR KNOCK OUT PERCENTAGE, or any cheat that does the same, i mean any way possible...

And actually if u read it well, theres no problem on understanding it

i want to know if someone knows about an editor for the game that lets u change some stuff like modifying your character's knock out percentage, or any cheat to make u way harder to beat (i mean the damage required to take u down), or any way to achieve this...

i dont think this may be so hard to find out, since theres a cheat called "super strong" that does some of wat im looking for, makes u stronger but only on P1 mode, and theres many other cheats that lets u do some cool stuff like having infinite jumps, unlocking super characters or hidden battlefields.

the game its configured in some way, i dont think its hard just to change a value (like the one im talking about) to another, i just ask for some knowledge anyone will like to share, if anyone knows about any kind of editor will be fine to know about it

As someone said above: use handicap....its the only easy to do solution

Also: you are saying that changing values are easy to do, this is not that easy to do. If it was so easy to do, people would have found out every single cheat for smash 64. It is a lot harder than you think (I tried doing this before.....and it took a long time for me to make something better (made samus's charge shot fire twice as fast...xD)

Anyway, just use handicap, that's how 1P mode has been designed anyway in all the games
The actual difficulty used in 1P mode is handicap....You die easier in the higher levels, They always give you a worse handicap the higher the difficulty.....ITS ONLY HANDICAP
Have you noticed that people in 1P mode are just higher level CPUs on higher difficulties and they surivive longer and kill you easier even though they are doing the same damage? Its due to handicap

Also, they are boss characters, All of the NPC's in smash games are "boss" characters
Giant DK: sub boss, Giant DK
Metal Mario: Midboss
Fighting Polygon team: Mini-boss
Master Hand: Boss

Topic makes me lol, sorry OP. Do it the easy way, handicaps. Unless you don't want the high weight, in which you're screwed. But wait, you can't raise handicap, only decrease. So bleh.

the thread just became bigger and confusing (the way i see it), so just lets forget about this...

and if someone finds out how to change this value please tell me

why dont you try doing this your self...no joke

go download the program called "ArtMoney" its a basic editor that most people can learn within 10 mins...or i would hope

mmm... theres no way that program is going to help me, i got a better one "cheat engine", and to find that value with that program its going to be very, very hard, 1º its not shown, 2º its static (its not modified in any way individually), but thanks for the help anyway.
