Leon Powalski for Brawl!

Leon Powalski is a good candidate, giving the Star Fox team at least one enemy. If him and Wolf o' Donnel both get in, that would be cool, so it would give Fox and Falco an enemy to deal with. Leon is owned by Nintendo, and has starred in all the Star Fox games since Star Fox 64. Here is a Picture of Leon Powalski:

Leon Powalski is a member of the Star Wolf team, and the only original member other than Wolf himself that has consistently stayed with the team since Star Fox 64. Leon is very stubborn and only shows respect to his co-pilots. Leon's past is unknown, but most likely he had some past rivalry with Star Fox member Falco, whom he mainly concentrates on in Star Fox 64.

Leon's personality has developed slightly since Star Fox 64. He has gone from a classy, competent pilot to a crazed, ruthless killer who usually gives a deranged laugh after defeating a foe.

In Star Fox: Command, Leon's aircraft is called Rainbow Delta. It lacks a standard laser, but instead it's armed with a Wide-Type lock, which enables him to lock onto all enemies in vision range and attack all of them at once.

Leon is a great candidate, as i said earlier, and we need different races in brawl, they all just can't be human!

I thought that it looked pretty cool, i found that when i was looking on Google. I'll make a moveset for him later, don't have time to do it right now.

I used the search bar, to look for any topics made for Leon Powalski on being in Brawl, and there was none that i could find. So don't blame me, at least i looked this time!

Okay, here is some moves for Leon:
(Land Attacks only)

A-Tail Whack-Whacks opponent with tail, does about 1% damage.

A,A-Double Tail Whack- Whacks opponent twice with his tail, sends enemy skyward. Does about 2% damage.

A,A and A-Volleyball Spike- Jumps into the air after sending opponent skywards, and spikes opponent like Mario and Ness does. Does about 5% damage altogether, if you did the combo all the way.

A + Left or Right-Lizard Punch (smash move)-Turns to either side, and punches opponents once in the stomach. If not charged, it does 5% damage. If charged all the way like in melee, it does 10% damage.

A + Down-Yemenian Kick (smash move)-Gets on his knees, and kicks opponents once in the stomach. If not charged, does 6% damage. If charged all the way like in melee, it does 12% damage.

A + Up-Skull Bash (smash move)- Stands up straight, and headbutts opponents like mario does on Melee. If not charged, does 7% damage. If charged all the way like in melee, it does 14% damage.

Running-Doesn't run that fast, but not that slow, either. Runs like mario/Luigi does on melee.

Running Kick-Does that kick that Fox and Falco both do when they run. Does about 5% damage.

Running Slide-Slides like mario and Dr.mario, going towards opponents on the ground, feet first. Does 4% damage, and knocks them back a few steps.

B-Blaster- Has a blaster like Fox and Falco's, except it's bigger and slower. Fire's accurately, but very slow. Does about 4% damage per hit. (can be used in the air)

B + Left or Right-Illusion Dash- Does the Fox and Falco thing, goes forward in the air, and turns blue, just like Fox and Falco. Does about 6% damage.(can be used in the air)

B + Up-Fire Leon- Is like Fire Fox and Fire Falco, but is stronger and takes more time to do it. Does about 8-10% damage, depending if your hit by it starting from when he starts it up.(can be used in the air)

B + Down-Reflector- Does like Fox and Falco (again), and reflects anything towards him. If you get hit by the reflector, than it does 6% damage.(can be used in the air)

Taunt-Laughs and poses off of Star Fox: Assault.

Special Move #1- Illusion Dash-After grabbing the first smash icon, Leon charges up, like he's on fire, and does Illusion Dash across the board/playing stage. This time, however, Leon can go in any direction, you just have to guide him with the control stick. If he falls off of the board/stage, then he dies. If he hits an opponent once, it does 38% damage. This will only last for about 10 seconds.

Special Move # 2-Heavy Artillery Fire-After Leon grabs the second smash icon, he Pulls out like 6-7 Heavy machine-guns, including one or two rocket launchers. He then sets them all on his arms, and fires them all at once, which should send about 2-3 missles/bullets per opponent on the stage. One bullet/missle does 40% damage, two does 80%, and three, the last one (this is rare to get), does about 120% damage. This last until Leon has run out of ammo, whichi is a few seconds.

I just came up with this, and based it off of Fox's and Falco's attacks. Let me know what you think!

Wolf and krystal is a must for brawl......and also maybe leon. And YES he is kinda of important. C'mon pit only made a appearance in the old NES console, why does he come out? I'll use him thought. So leon should be in brawl, but I think wolf deserves more the spot.

True, when i went to search for threads already made for "Leon Powalski" i mispellt it, and couldn't find anything about leon on there, so i decided, why not make a thread? relizing my mistake on this, i can't fix it. sorry.

True, but with wolf, that's only one enemy. and with krystal, that's with 3 starfox good guys on there (if falco makes the cut). yeah, his "torture-talk" was pretty cool in star fox assualt.

Let's see, if ALL the starfox characters that wanted to get in got in brawl, that would be a total of....5 characters. 2 enemys, and 3 good guys. Hey, every series needs an enemy in brawl, don't they?

falco probably won't, mainly because he was a clone, like dr. mario, ganon, pichu, etc.

but then, i'd have to make another moveset, and i don't have time to do that.

He's the #3 villain and there are plenty of main characters and main villains of other Nintendo franchises that have more backing than Leon. That puts him pretty low on a playable character standpoint.

What I really don't understand is why you think Falco would be taken out, while Leon has a chance. Returning characters, clones or not, have a much higher fan base, to an extent have "residency", and Falco by himself is WAY more popular than Leon.

I'm not against Leon being in Brawl, I would like to see a lot of new and original characters added, but to tell people that Falco won't be coming back and backing Leon... that's just silly.

I didn't really think Leon had much support, but I've been for him. Besides, if Wolf is in, then it makes sense. Fox and Falco=Wolf and Leon. The Krystal fans won't like it, though. I think it should be Wolf instead of Krystal. But if Krystal made it, I'd say Katt instead of Leon, since she's basically to Falco what Krystal is to Fox, just like Leon is to Falco as Wolf is to Fox. That makes some sense, now that I think about it.

I made this thread when I first joined, it died. Leon's cool, but your moveset's damage is pretty weak. 7% for a smash? Inventive attacks, they just need more damage. Also, he might be an assist trophy.

But still, you just have to like Leon's personality... and his voice actor in Lylat Wars/Star Fox 64. "I am the great Leon!"

But, if he was in, I can't really envision a great moveset that would set him apart from any other Star Fox character. -Sigh-

I wouldn't have predicted Goro getting any treatment whatsoever. Goro has such a small fanbase in comparison to MANY other notable Nintendo characters. Hell, honestly he was lucky to get an assist trophy.

Highly predicted characters are not random kinda important characters from a series. They are highly popular characters that are either primary or secondary characters. Sure, Nintendo is gonna give us a few curve balls like they did with G&W, but for the most part that doesn't make obscure characters any more likely to appear.
