"Leon Exterminates the Field!"

Durability Points:
-The Pistol has 20 durability points/bullets, but is reloadable and won't be thrown away.
-The SMG has 100 durability points/bullets, but is thrown away once empty. Will respawn in 8 seconds after it's depleted
-The Shotgun has 7 durability points/bullets. It will be thrown away once depleted, but Leon can grab the depleted shotgun to be used as a battering item. The battering variant of the shotgun has 3 durability points. 3 hits will break the shotgun, but 1 smash attack will break if it hits. Should the depleted shotgun be used for battering, it will have an increased respawn timer. 15 seconds for the original, with 25 seconds if used as a battering item.
-The Flashbang has 3 durability points, and will respawn after a hefty 45 seconds.

Attacks and tilts:
Jabs: Jeon performs two slashes with his knife, then follows up with a stabbing blow, or will spray with his SMG in a neutral infinite, whether it's mashed or held. The range of the knife is lacking, but little startup and ending lag. Can hit at frame 5. The range of the SMG is short-medium ranged, having slightly more range than the knife and shotgun, but the SMG counts as being used, costing 10 durability points a second)
Knife:
Hit 1: 3%
Hit 2: 4%
Hit 3 (Knife Finisher): 7%
SMG:
SMG Infinite: 1%
SMG Finisher: 3%

Dash attack: A shoulder tackle. Has small starting lag, with noticeable ending lag. Can be used for setting up an aerial attack. Based on his tackle move in Resident Evil 6.
Clean: 10%
Late: 7%

Up Tilt: Leon performs his Jump Kick. Has a sweetspot at the foot of the attack, dealing slightly more damage and knockback. Deals moderate damage, but low-medium knockback, also having medium end-lag, and a small hitbox. Based on his Grapple Breaker attack from Resident Evil 4.
Leg: 6%
Foot: 8%

Forward Tilt: Leon performs his Roundhouse Kick. Has very good range, medium knockback, decent damage, and is fast. Based on the attack of the same name in Resident Evil 4, being used at a stunned enemy.
4%

Down Tilt: Leon performs a low kick. It is a bit weak in knockback and damage, but has good range and has low lag. The foot deals more damage and knockback, being that it's a sweetspot. It can be a useful combo starter, sending the opponent upwards for a string aerial combo.
Foot: 4%
Leg: 3%

Specials:
Neutral B: Silver Ghost (Leon will fire his pistol at his opponent. The pistol is a versatile weapon, possessing very long range, being able to cover the entire stage of Final Destination, and can fire surprisingly fast for it's range. Fires slightly slower than Fox's blaster, firing as fast as Falco's blaster, but has longer range, deals more damage, and the projectile goes very fast. It can even briefly flinch opponents, but the flinch effectiveness is stronger in closer ranges. Useful for long-range poking, intercepting an opponent's attack and projectile from longer ranges. It can fire up to 20 bullets before needing to reload. The pistol can be reloaded manually via Up-Taunt. Bullet displays can be seen under Leon's character display.)
Long: 2%
Medium: 3%
Close: 4%

Side B: SMG (Leon will use his SMG to shoot with more concentrated aiming. It will almost always shoot straight and even has longer range compared to his neutral infinite, reach at 2/3 of Final Destination. Should the move be held on, and it will use up 10 durability points a second, and has very little knockback, barely flinching the opponent, but will deal damage to the opponent at an incredibly fast rate. But due to the fast fire rate, it will deplete very quickly. If the SMG is still recharging and Side-B is used, Leon can throw a knife instead. Regardless of range, the knife can deal a fixed amount of damage, regardless of range. The projectile is slightly slow, but it has good damage and knockback. Leon can throw two knives at a time, one is his own knife, and the other is Jack Krauser's knife.)
SMG

Medium: 1.5%

Knife

Down B: Flashbang (Leon throws a flash bang in front of him, stunning any opponent(s) caught in the blast for a short period of time. Obviously used for stunning opponents, and finishing them off. Can be thrown 3 times before needing to wait to use again, as when the flashbangs have been completely exhausted, the player must wait 45 seconds before they can use flashbangs again.)
3%

Up B: Rising slash (Leon jumps upwards, and slashes at the end of the duration of the attack. The recovery is decent, being able to cover just enough distance as Dark Dive, albeit with more horizontal recovery, but as soon as the move ends, Leon can quickly shoot his grappling hook upwards if the player presses B after he slashes.)
Slash: 5%

Final Smash: Sniper Rifle
As the camera zooms in at Leon, he will shout, "Try this on for size!", and will jump on a helicopter. As he's on a helicopter, he will fire his Sniper Rifle at his opponents as he aims at his opponents. He will fire a set of 6 rounds, and will reload once after the first clip is dry. Once the 2nd clip is dry, the Final Smash ends with Leon throwing the Sniper Rifle away, and returning to the stage. Every shot will immediately move there at extremely high speeds, dealing very high damage and knockback per shot. Each shot requires Leon to briefly pull the bolt of the weapon (like a real bolt action rifle) before shooting again, but pulling the bolt is fairly quick. Can KO at relatively low percentages, and can KO with 3-4 well placed shots starting from 0%.)
21% per shot

Smash attacks:
Forward Smash: Leon performs a stabbing blow, follows-up with a reverse slash with his combat knife OR fires his shotgun at a selected direction.
Knife: The first hit has some knockback, but the second hit carries most of the knockback. It can deal high damage, but suffers from below-average knockback and range. Also possesses little starting lag, with slightly medium endlag. This attack is seen in Resident Evil 4, where he uses the attack in a knife fight against Jack Krauser.
Shotgun: The shotgun is a unique projectile, firing in a full spread like a shotgun. It has incredibly high. It can be fired 7 times before being used up. Once it's used up, Leon tosses the Shotgun away, allowing him to grab it, should he do so. Unlike Robin, where their "broken" tombs are throwable, Leon's shotgun is a battering item instead, breaking in three hits, and/or one smash attack. However, should the empty shotgun be used as a battering item, it will take even longer for the shotgun to restore. The original wait time for the "broken" shotgun is 15 seconds, while the "broken" shotgun used as a battering item takes 25 seconds.

Slash: 5 - 10%
Shotgun
Close: 17 - 26%
Medium: 11 - 20%

Down Smash:
Leon, while crouching, will spin around and slash from both sides with his knife. Much like most of his knife-based attacks, the range is very lacking, but comes out very fast, and hitting someone behind Leon will deal more knockback than in front.
Front: 9 - 14%
Back: 11 - 16%

Up Smash:
Leon performs a backflip kick. Has low startup lag, and hits at early frames, at frame 10. However, it has high end-lag, but it makes up for it's high power. Vaguely based off of Ana Wong's somersault kick from Resident Evil 6.
9 - 17%

Air moves:
Neutral Air: Leon performs 4 kicks in quick succession. Has weak enough knockback to connect all hits easily, but is still easy to SDI out of. Comparable to Snake's N-air, as Leon's is slightly slower and weaker, but has a slightly bigger hitbox. It's still a very strong N-air, if all hits connect.
Hit 1: 5%
Hit 2: 4%
Hit 3: 2%
Hit 4: 11%

Forward Air:
Leon performs a downward crescent slash with his Combat Knife. Is somewhat lacking in range, damage and knockback, but it makes up for being a very fast attack, being able to hit at frame 5.
Knife: 4%

Back Air: An aerial back kick. In addition to being very fast, it also has very high knockback, making it a great KO move. Deals more knockback and damage at the foot.
Clean(Foot): 12%
Clean(Leg): 10%
Late: 7%

Down Air: Leon aims downwards, and fires his shotgun downwards OR throws a flurry of kicks downwards.
Kicks: Leon's kicks have pretty long range, and can deal heavy damage if all hits connect. However, it has plenty of end lag, making it easily punishable.
Shotgun: Spikes in very close range, otherwise, it would semi-spike in medium range instead. Has a high amount of starting lag, but has shorter end lag.

7%

Get-up Attack(back): Slashes behind him, and then stabs forward.
7%

Get-up Attack(trip): Stabs with his knife forward, and kicks backwards.

Ledge Attack: A dropkick.

On-Screen Appearance:
Leon hops off of a helicopter, landing in the stage, and the helicopter flies away.

Hurtsound:
Hurtsounds are reminiscent from his respectful appearances in Resident Evil 4.
-He makes a medium grunt if he is hit with an attack with medium knockback.
-He grunts very hard if he's hit with a very strong attack, much like how he grunts the same way, if he's hit with an attack that sends him flying.

Grab:
Leon shoot a grappling hook in front of him. Has good range, and can be used for a tether recovery. It shoots out somewhat quick for a tether, but the hitbox, while long, is VERY small to hit with.

Pummel:
Leon knees his opponent. Relatively quick.
2%

Throws:
Forward Throw:
Leon performs his grapple breaker move on his opponent. Can semi-spike for tech chases and follow-ups, or can be useful to launch opponents in a bad angle off-stage.
6%

Down Throw:
Leon slams his grabbed opponent into the ground with a two-handed body slam. It launches the opponent forward albeit in a low diagonal angle, useful for tech-chases. Based on a grapple throw attack performed by a Ganado/Cultist in Resident Evil 4, when Leon didn't break free from an enemy's grip.
8%

Back Throw:
Leon shoves the opponent behind himself and reverse roundhouse kicks them, similar to Ike and Cloud's Back Throw. Can be used for tech-chasing or following-up with his dash attack. Based on his reverse roundhouse kick attack.
6%

Up Throw:
Leon performs a suplex, similar to Snake's Up Throw.
10%

KO sounds(the sound they make when they're KO'd):
-Off-stage: Leon makes a scream of agony(I can't find a correct way of explaining this, sorry)
-(Star KO): Leon makes an echoed scream, especially the same used in a failed QTE where Leon gets impaled by a spike.
-(Stamina KO): Makes the same "death sound" when Leon loses all his health/dies in RE4, and has a unique animation for that purpose too, also from Resident Evil 4. It's entirely exclusive only to his Stamina KO (it sounds funny too, look it up)

Stunned animation:
-Uses a standard dizzy animation

Sleeping Animation:
-Lies on his back, and sleeps. Due to the way he sleeps, it's almost unlikely for Leon to be hit by most attacks, but it make him slightly easier to be hit with Rest, because Jigglypuff can hit Leon with Rest on his legs without moving him.

Teetering Animation:
-Simply leans away from the ledge

Taunts:
-(Up Taunt) Leon will briefly reload whatever firearm he's currently holding. Both guns have fairly short reload times, but the pistol can reload quicker.

-(Side Taunt) Leon briefly uses a healing spray on himself. Doesn't actually heal, so don't think it will recover your damage.

-(Down Taunt) Leon tosses his pistol in the air, and catches it.

Victory Fanfare:
(Note, the first 7 seconds of the soundtrack is used for the fanfare)
http://66.90.91.26/ost/bio-hazard-orchestra/kquarxvsjo/09.-the-opening.mp3

Victory Poses:
-Leon hostlers his pistol and sheathes his knife while saying, "Too easy."
*If Leon fought Snake, he will sometimes sarcastically say, "This is the Legend people are talking about?"

-Leon pulls out his comms communicator, and says, "Hunnigan this is Leon, mission complete."

-Leon sits on a throne as seen in the laboratory, while wearing a King's crown, roughly resembling the Salazar's Family Crown. Should Leon wear the Pirate outfit and Mafia outfit, the hats will be kept on, and the Salazar Crown will be nowhere to be seen. Based on the easter egg in Resident Evil 4.

No Contest/Losing animation:
-Leon claps in what it appears to be in disappointment in himself.

Idle animations:
-1. Leon holds his pistol beside his face, or hold his shotgun/SMG near his hips, if the shotgun or SMG is in hand instead. Based on his idle animaton in Resident Evil 4 when he is holding a weapon in hand.

-2a. Leon briefly inspects his held weapon.

-2b. Leon brushes his hair from his face.

Palutena's Guidance:
Pit: Who's this pretty boy over here?

Viridi: Do I sense a bit of jealousy from that tone I hear?

Pit: Wh-what? No, I was just asking.

Viridi: It sure sounds like it.

Pit: Hey!

Palutena: This "pretty boy" calls himself Leon Kennedy. He's a special agent working for the president.

Pit: President? What for?

Palutena: Well, it seems that he's known to save a girl by the name of Ashley Graham, who is the president's daughter.

Pit: Not exactly a reason to be some part of an agency just for that.

Palutena: But that doesn't mean he's in for show. He has a strong array of weapons to keep you at bay, especially in longer ranges. And... best to watch out for his Shotgun.

Pit: Don't worry, I'll use the reflectors!

Palutena: That is the answer I'm looking for.

Snake Codec Coversation:
Snake: This is Snake.

Leon: Hello there, Snake.

Snake: What the?! Who is this!?

Leon: The name's Leon, it's nice to meet you. Now don't be surprised, we're both fighting each other still. Just want to know each other, that's all.

Snake: Hacked again, huh? Well, if that's what you want.

Leon: Well, it seems you've got yourself well-pampered weaponry, I see there?

Snake: Pretty much, and it looks that your weapons aren't upgraded, aren't they?

Leon: Maybe, but just you wait once you see how they work.

Snake: Let's see what you're made of. After all, you're up against a Legend.

Aesthetics:
=Leon's appearance is based on his appearance in Resident Evil 4.

=The length of his knife is increased to be the same size as Robin's Bronze Sword. Compared to the original size, the length of the knife is increased, increasing the range of his knife attacks.

=His rolls and spotdodge is based off of his dodging animations in certain QTE sequences.

=When Leon loses all his HP in Stanima mode, he has unique death animations, being very reminiscent to his death animations in Resident Evil 4. If Leon is hit, with the last hit having little to no knockback, he will fall on his knees, and falls down on his stomach, while making his funny death sound from Resident Evil 4. Should Leon be hit with an attack with moderate to high knockback, he will make a death animation if he is killed with an explosive attack, or a heavy attack from an enemy.

Positive:
+Many of his attacks are very quick, allowing for being less likely to be punished.

+Leon's pistol is very useful for poking and intercepting opponents from long ranges.

+The Shotgun can be useful defensively and sometimes offensively, due to the amount of damage it makes in close range, it can almost instantly shatter shields if used close enough.

+Leon's "broken" shotgun can be used as a battering item, giving him improved range compared to his knife.

+Flashbang can be used for KO set-ups and/or combo set-ups.

+SMG is an effective damage dealer, racking up damage at a fast rate.

Negative:
-Even if his knife's range has increased, the range in all his attacks with his knife is still lackluster.

-Leon's shotgun has high end-lag per shot, and has deceptively poor range, being able to reach only 1/3 of Final Destination.

-When the "broken" shotgun is used, it will break even further to the point of being even unable to be thrown, and thus increases the restore timer to 30 seconds, compared to its standard 15 seconds. And it will only start to restore once the "broken" shotgun disappears.

-Additionally, the "broken" shotgun can be used against Leon, since opponents can also grab it and use it, and Leon is forced to use his shorter ranged Knife.

-Much like in Leon's home game, Resident Evil, care must be taken when using his guns, as he needs to use ammo management for certain situations.

-Shotgun's range is very short, and it is drastically weak in medium ranges.

-Leon's recovery is slightly lackluster, if not counting the grappling hook.

English: Paul Mercier
Japanese: Toshiyuki Morikawa

Stages:
-High Island Platform (The stage takes place at the area Leon confronted Osmund Saddler for a boss fight in Resident Evil 4. It has two platforms: a large platform in the left, a bridge that will sometimes lower suddenly, and a smaller platform that is slightly higher in the right side of the stage. Saddler himself doesn't appear as a boss, but he will appear in the background fighting Leon(if he isn't selected as a fighter at the time), or Ada Wong (If Leon is selected as a fighter at the moment.). The bridge would be pretty big, but is small enough for even Ganondorf and Little Mac to cross if the bridge falls.)

-Lava Room (The stage takes place in the lava room under the Los Illuminados castle, where Leon confronts two El Gigante. In center stage, there's a pit where it will briefly open for any opponent to throw others in. In a rare occasion, the pit in the center will have El Gigante grab any of the opponent down in the lava, but can be shaken off quickly, provided you are not too damaged. Because of this, this stage is not tournament legal.)

Trophies:
-Leon S. Kennedy:
Leon Scott Kennedy is a special agent working for the U.S. Government. Surprisingly for a rookie of the Raccoon City Police Department, he is one of the very few survivors that escaped from Raccoon City. Oversleeping, he rushed to the station, even being unaware of the known T-Virus. After the events, he is recruited by the U.S. Government, after they've shown interested by his actions during the Raccoon City incident. Talk about an underdog!

Battle Damage(all has no effect on gameplay):
(Depending on the costume, it will effect differently)
-If Leon is wearing his brown jacket attire from Resi 4, there's a chance that the jacket will fall of off of him, if he sustains enough damage. Same applies to his RE6 jacket attire.
-If Leon wears his Pirate outfit, it's possible to have his hat fall off of him, if he's hit once, but only if he's knocked back or flinched(e.g., his hat won't fall off if he's hit with Fox's laser).

Palette Swap Colours and appearances:
Brown: Based on his brown leather jacket attire as seen in Resident Evil 4.

Dark Blue: Based on his Resident Evil 4 appearance, but with a tactical vest instead of his jacket.

Blue: Based on his Raccoon City Police Department attire in Resident Evil 2, but uses the updated model.

White: Based on his attire in Resident Evil: Damnation. Interestingly, with this palette swap, Leon uses an assault rifle instead of an SMG as seen on the pic. It's purely cosmetic, however.

Green: Based on his design from Darkside Chronicles.

Black: Based on his Mafia outfit in Resident Evil 4. Additionally, Leon's knife and SMG will change to a Jewelled Switchblade and a Thompson respectfully.

Blue: Based on his "China Outfit" in Resident Evil 6.

After playing Resident Evil 4 for 67 hours, I decided to make this idea, as I notice some pretty nifty thing that Leon can do pretty well in Smash Bros, especially with some of his combat skills, gunplay for long range fighting, and silly costumes. :p

(If they gave the ability to rescale the images, that'd be great, because they're bigger than Ridley at the moment)
