LEO-Con at Rutgers: 4/19 - Brawl and more!

It's the Underground Gaming Society's annual spring bash, and it's bigger and better than ever, with events for Magic the Gathering, Rock Band, Guilty Gear Accent Core, and of course Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Sign-ups/sign-ins: 1-2:30 PM
Start: 3 PM

Pre-registration
You can eliminate some of the sign-up hassle by pre-registering. Just send an email to leocon_ugs_prereg@yahoo.com stating that you'll be entering the Brawl tournament, and provide the name you want put on the bracket.

Rules

-$5 entry
-3 stock, 7 minutes
-Double elimination
-Matches are 2/3, finals are 3/5
-Advanced Slob Picks - First game: players choose characters (double blindly if requested) and play on a random or agreed upon neutral stage. Subsequent games: Loser/winner/loser chooses stage/character/character.
-Each player gets one stage ban per match
-No counter-picking a stage you already won on in that set

hey i might go to this, but why is hannebow on lol? snake on the bottom is crazy lol. also there is no cash prizes, other than that i'm fine with everything else here kinda lol. erdrick pm me whenever you get the chance and what will accent core be play on? i love gulity gear

Crap. Honestly, I meant to ban that. 3 AM and 41 stages don't mix <_<

Guilty Gear starts at 1:30. And for anyone else that may be wondering, Magic will take up most of your available time, and Rock Band starts at 5.

You'll have to let me know you've arrived and give me $5. Really, it's more so that we have at least some sort of prediction for turnout. Also, if we cap the bracket, pre-reg will give you priority.

Hanenbow is on because Rutgers loves Hanenbow lol. And I honestly would rather have cash prizes, but Rutgers doesn't let us do that for whatever reason. Rules are rules =\

Guilty Gear will be played on PS2 with any compatible controller/stick you want to bring. And so you know, the prizes for GG are a custom stick ($175 voucher for http://www.crookedjester.com/sticks.html) / GameStop cards / Fat Sandwich

i got no problem. i think thatz hot ya have different rules n stages. itz a different challenge and different state. that sucks no cash prizes. do it serectly unless they have one of their staff watchin ya, then i understand. gg accent core is the ****, but i know alot of smashheads only play smash and don't know anything outside of smash.
