Who remembers this classic game for the PSX? I remember it clearly and still own it. 4 discs of awesomeness!

For those who don't know, or recall, LOD is an RPG made for the PSX about a man named Dart, who returns home after searching the world for the Black Monster, the monster that killed his parents. He returns home to find his home town destroyed, and his childhood friend taken captive. When he sets out, he triggers events that will have fate of the world on his hands.

This game OWNS! It was my first serious RPG and I found it pretty challenging. I was stuck on the Divine Dragon for soooo long before I finally beat it. The main feature I loved in LoD was the combat system. The combos you can do in LoD were insane! Magic, morphing into Dragoons, 20 hit combos! This game is seriously up there with Final Fantasy 7 (if not better). I think this game is just one of those games that not too many people played, but it was still amazing.

And now I think it's time that I replayed it!

Wow, it's been over 2 years since I last played it, indeed it is one of my favorite and actually was my first Rpg to EVER finish, this game stands out right along side final fantasy 7, but the fact is, not much people have ever played, much less heard about this great game because seriously, it PWNS it had a great storyline

The DD was just a pain; spent about 3 months on him. I was stupid and found out that the dragoons were usless against him, except Albert's Rose Storm. (It was my first RPG, so I didn't know much back then!) But the DD is just a push-over compared to the DD Spirit in that Wingly city. Oh, gawd, what pain he was!

And don't get me started on the secret boss!

naw, Divine Dragon wasn't anything compared to that optional Wizard Mage boss in the 3rd disc which btw took me many try's to beat him

My friend owned this back when he had a PS. We put so many hours into that game.

I thought things took too long, though.

On the other hand, I liked the timing that was incorporated into your attacks.

The first time through the game was quite difficult for me considering I could'nt comprehend the attack combos. Then about two years ago I decided to give it another shot. It was then I found these really difficult monsters around Lohan that give five gold per kill, so I kept fighting them till I could buy at least two ultimate wargods. Woo hoo time consumption.
