There are both ledge grabbing and wall jump invincibility frames working to your advantage and it is a ridiculous mindgame after a bait or a sweetspotted recovery.

From the grab you can choose any throw or from the waveland you could choose a different move besides grab. Other characters that can walljump can do the ledge stall wall jump waveland plus move of choice.

It is flashy and technical, but probably useless. I probably did not do it as best it can be done and I don't have AR nor video editing tools so I don't know the vulnerabilities of this tactic and consequently its practicality. I did it on a computer, but I'm sure it'd work on newbs, possibly on laggy moves against pros.

If practical, it is an alternative to non-lethal ledge hopped knees or moves since you redirect the opponent with their back away from the stage setting you up for lethal knees or gimps. It is also an alternately safe way off the ledge and into your shield utilizing invincibility frames. Or I don't know what I'm talking about. :psycho:

If you have the invisibility frames and use them to the fullest, I don't see why this wouldn't be of somewhat use. I'd probably suicide trying to do it though o.O

Nice find. Honestly I think that this could be of good use, I will try to perfect it and put it to good use. Another way you could do this is instead of a waveland, from the walljump do a moonwalk as soon as you land and that will put you in the same position as the waveland. Thanks again for a pretty cool find.

As sexy and cool and much more technical an instant moonwalk out of walljump would be, a walljump doesn't put you on the stage. It sends you away with the only ways to change direction is with Up+B, Over B, or air dodge hence the waveland.

Ah true. I was thinking that you would still have a second jump after the walljump, but I may be wrong on this idea. Thanks for clearing that up.
