Least Favorite Type of Update

Stages, Characters, Items, Music, Game Modes, Final Smashes, which one do you dislike the most?

Personally I hate the music updates. Because we're all gonna get sick of the music and play our own music while fighting. I mean at least when we get an item we still get to see some character shots. But that's just me. What do you think?

Again, perhaps the mods can move it for you?

I, personally, am starting to dislike item updates. They pop up too much, and are seeming to get less and less interesting. In my opinion, the only good item updates that came to us so far are the "Assist Trophies" and "Bumper" updates. All the rest seem dull.

Surpringly, I'm going to say Game Modes. Yeah, the new story mode is amazing. But we should have gotten this ages ago. It's a standard in almost any fighting game. I don't want to sound like a snob, though.

i get dissappointed with final smashes and special move updates. the specials we already know what they are and the final smashes, who really cares we'll see when we play. personally i'm still waiting for the captain falcon, ness, and ice climber updates[assuming there in because i hope they are].

I like the Music Updates. I, for one, thoroughly enjoyed the Melee soundtrack (especially the orchestral pieces like Fountain of Dreams.), so no, not everybody listens to their own music while playing the game.

How to Play doesn't really interest me, unless it where to introduce something completely new, like the footstool jump.

I like Items (NOT Assist Trophies)! They are fun to see, especially the Cracker Launcher and Smoke Ball!

I concur. Songs like "Go K.K. Rider!", "Ocarina of Time Medley" and "Space Armada" are something I can enjoy more than once.

I still think that the people who are following the site, are people who've played the previous games, at least one of them.
Also, Smash is the simplest fighting game in a LONG time, as in button combo's and not competitive play-wise, considering a character only has like 25 moves. Maybe How To Play is useful for Soul Calibur or Mortal Kombat, whose button combo's are ABYXXXYXXABBA^><<<<^>^ABY. and all that in a span of one second.

I don't like music updates. I mean i love the music in smash, but it's not really something to ANNOUNCE. It's not like your pay attention to it much. Plus, the music isn't gonna sell copies of the game to anyone really. There's nothing like a music update to bring an awesome week to a grinding halt.

The problem with Assist Trophies and PokéBalls is that, well, it's all you get for that update. I think they should either come in multiples, with other content (such as music, characters, stages ect.) or just not come at all. Though the bright side that they deconfirm annoying requests like Deoxys. (with all due respect.)

I rarely use items, I don't remember any of the music in Melee except the DK Rap and the menu music (I just don't pay attention to music), and I really don't care about the 1 player mode(s).

Stages I'm kinda indifferent about. You really can't tell much about how a stage will play until you play it.

Dude, that animal crossing song was epic beyond belief. You cant dislike that update unless you're one cold hearted person
