Large button input delays on comp.

I've got my Wii hooked up to a PCTV capture card from Pinnacle Systems. It's receiving both audio and video and all that, as well as my button input.

However, there's about a 1-2s delay
My monitors an Acer 22" LCD at 1680x1050, so I'm wondering if that's got anything to do with it.
