I personally like Zair to CS or homing missile to CS.

I can normally get them off ok, my problem is with Pit and hits **** reflectors, thats why I toss Pit in the air before chargeshoting him.

Anyway, discuss.

It's all about variation and timing. Good players will pay attention to the situations where you like to use the CS most often. That's why it's important to stay undpredictable and keep them guessing. There are many different moves and variations you can use to keep you opponent on his/her toes.

Sometimes you can throw them completely off and do CS point blank range, usually after an attack that you usually would use fair or uair or zair. Occasionally they're like, "what the heck?" and don't know what happened b/c point blank CS makes no noise.

I... don't use it. I save it for mindgames. I only shoot it when my opponent is off the stage though. You have to use it in a time where your opponent will either not expect it, or have a hard time dealing with it. For example, shoot it only after your opponent has already double jumped. It gives them one less option to use to dodge it. There's also the old, run off stage to charge shot trick. Very unexpected, very deadly as well.

Personally, i usually misile to CS or wait until i've learned how they use their dodges and CS them just as they'll be coming out of a dodge. CS when recovering to the stage also works for me on occasion, just don't forget to actually recover afterwards =P.

New to samus, but zair+cs seems pretty awsome. but keep it mixed up to not be predicted so easy. maybe something really weird like dthrow cs? theyd probobly think your gonna wanna go for a uair or fair...

the best thing to do is throw it out at odd times like when theyre at low percentages where it really wont do anything and then do it again when they are at high percentages for the kill.

I also like to charge one right in front of them when theyre at high percentages so theyre waiting for it and rather than getting it off i just get them with a d-tilt or some other move

I just like using Charge shot, period. It charges faster and I think it fires faster, so I use it to KO, to get people off the stage, for damage, and otherwise just to mess people up.

Zair to Chargeshot may be predictable, but I don't think that matters. IF you land the Zair(not impossible) at the right time, and since Zair has abusable stun time on it, the charge shot, I believe, is guaranteed to connect aka two hit combo.

My only wish was that fully charged shot and partial charge shot counted as separate attacks for diminishing power.

In regard to Pit he can use his shields in the air so....but if u time the shot with his arrow at good distance it engulfs the arrow i believe(correct me if im wrong...cant remember)...basically its all covered just dont be a noob and shoot at incredibly predictable times....hitting them when there trying to recover is the best use for the CS to me...

Not entirely sure if this applies in Brawl, but from what I've seen, a common way to approach a charged Samus is to run at them and then jump.. Often at times I'll charge up, and as soon as it completes, just jump and immediately tap B. For shield pressure, missile canceling two missiles -> charge shot ->immediate dash attack or zair approach is a bit overwhelming.
