Aren't they supposed to cause like no lag?
I still have bad input lag in most games.

My fault?
Friends fault?
Nintendos fault?

It could be your opponent.

The connection is only going to be as good as you and your opponent's internet, since the connection is being hosted off of the players and not a Nintendo server.

I don't have a lan adapter, so I can't speculate on that further. But in general, if you have a good connection, then your games will be laggier/less laggy depending on your opponent. If you have a bad connection, the games will always be laggy because you're the connection that's slowing it down.

it's supposed to reduce lag, but as S2 said your connection will be only as good as the lowest common denominator. The only other thing you can do is DMZ/Forward the appropriate ports to your wii and hope for the best.
