Why is it that some games i have low FPS with input lag but others have higher FPS but with it constantly having to buffer every few seconds? What's the cause for the different kinds of lag? lol

Nintendo is very bad at online. They improved, but are still bad.
You will probably get a lot of replies calling you a "lagger" and whatnot for complaining, but truth is Nintendo just sucks at online.
Anyone who plays other fighting games online can attest to this.

Input lag is probably a low upload speed, stuttery lag could be a low download speed. Not entirely sure, honestly, somehow I've only had one round with input lag, the rest have just been pause-y.
