(I was encouraged to post this here as well for the Marth mains to see. Original post by me. If there are any discrepancies between the posts, let me know)

So, to finally put an end to the question: Precisely how earlier can Marth kill when compared to Lucina, and vice versa, I decided to finally test the KO% on most of their moves, against 3 characters of extreme weights: Jigglypuff, Mario and Bowser.
If anyone wants to add something to this, feel free to tell me, and I'll edit the post.

Technical information:
This was all tested on version 1.1.4 (All but their aerials were tested on the 3DS version, but this still easily applies to any of the two versions.)
This was all done in training mode, so rage and staleness are non-applicable.
The stage used for testing was Final Destination, at the centre of the stage (achieved by KOing the dummy so they respawn exactly at the centre) unless stated otherwise.

Many thanks for @Bowserboy3 and @Smudges for helping me make this.

Weight of the dummies:
:4jigglypuff:: 68 units (Justification: Lightest)
:4mario:: 98 units (Justification: Most popular Midweight)
:4bowser:: 128 units (Justification: Heaviest)

MOVES NOT COVERED HERE:

Wake-up Attacks/Floor Get-up Attack (Too hard to test)
Down Special (It's a counter)
Side Special (Too many different combinations that kill at different percentages)
Down Air (Spike is too unreliably to try to get with any consistency, sourspot doesn't kill at useful percentages anyway)

Let's get to it.

Nice job! Possible issue though... are these percents before or after the hit? Looking at these percents, either you are using DI or they are percents after.

These were all tested this week, with the newest version of the game on Training Mode. I don't think they DI, there.

Very helpful. I'm thinking of probably secondarying Lucina, this list really helps! :D

What I'm is asking is if you find that Fsmash hits Mario at 70, deals 18%, then kills him at 88, do you record the 70 or 88?

The damage he was hit as, obviously.
Or else, Mario would die to Roy's Neutral Special at 50%, not 0.

Alright, good. We're on the same page there. I figured out what the numbers are so high. This is the Smash 3DS as it says in the beginning.

Awesome post dude, it's slightly less helpful as 3DS (yes I know the aerials are Wii U) but like you said, this is more for comparison purposes.

Even then, I don't know if the difference really is *that* big. Probably noticeable but I doubt it's more than 10%. Probably less.
