Knuckles would not be Sonic's second rep, he would be the third. If Sonic was to get a second rep, it would not be Knuckles, and should not be Knuckles. It would be Tails, if anyone wants to ask why, please go ahead.

This Thread is pointless, because:

1. Sonic most likely will not get a second rep.
2. If there was a second rep, it will be Tails. (I may be biased, but it's the truth)
3. You think Knuckles is going to be a playable because he was mentioned in a music update? I dont think so.

That is not evidence,that is one person construing a sentence to meet their thought. And you're joking if you're saying Knuckles has more of a chance than CF.

i heard they were gonna put 3 third party characters and 2 of them are already sonic and snake. i doubt they'll make the last one from the same game. i still hope though. and that little quote from sakurai u put made me believe it a little.

It's like that people said that IC's whould not be on brawl...
And if it is true, it can be only for the characters that will come unlockable...

I think that knuckles whould be on brawl because it wasn't necessary mention knuckles in that update...
It's like he put the music of the first stage of "Sonic 2" and say that was the first time that tails has apeared, an useless information.

would be "in" brawl not on brawl. the update means nothing. he was simply saying that the song was heard when a popular sonic character first appeared. don't live by every word the director of the game says.

The only semi-logical debate that could be made on that statement by Sakurai would be Knuckles being a stage hazard on that level, and even that's a huge stretch.
