kk im learning how to wave shine

but i just want to know if im doing it right i practice with link because hes the easyist to wave dash againts (i think) i use a simple wave dash with R,X,and tilting the control stick in a ---> right kind of way and using the down b move i think im doing it right and getting the hang of it but im not sure can anyone tell me if im doing it wrong??

Did you read any of the fox guides stickied to this forum?

Down+B to reflect, X+R while holding an almost horizontal angle with your control stick (it shouldn't be perfectly straight) down+b, wavedash, down+b, wavedash.

Thats how you do it.

doing this in training mode lets you know if you're doing it right. the combo counter will go up if you are.

Link and Peach the best in terms of the waveshine. Some other characters as well if they don't DI I think.
