Everyone has always said "Oh a kirby noob" if they lose its "Kirby utilt and drill" even when you didn't even use utilt that much, Everyone thinks kirby is so good and for noobs. When pikachu, #1 top tier, Crazy hit box, Best recovery, and is small and fast is NEVER **** talked. Pikachu vs Kirby and the pikachu user complains about KIRBY?!?! Really!!!, Wtf is wrong with people, Leave kirby and the rest of the High and top tiers alone. "Tiers don't exist".

I've actually never heard anyone talk smack about Kirby. Among my friends and fellow brawlers, we all think Kirby is fun to play as, and when we do, we have a blast.

Those are all really opinions, so you shouldn't be mad about that. Or whatever you're feeling.

Hmm. I think a lot of people complain about Kirby because he is so incredibly easy to learn and use at a good level of play. There are some people who play online and literally only know how to use kirby, and can beat some of your characters just because they are playing kirby and are decent at kirby. It's a shame, because the game is much more fun when you use more chraracters. And like was just stated, Pikachu being top tier over kirby is "just an opinion". I'm anit-tier, but from my experience of playing, Kirby is by far the easiest to gimp people and edge guard with, and actually has a better recovery than pikachu in some cases. Pikachu's recovery isn't always god. You can edge guard by jumping and using nair, fair, dair, etc. And, pikachu is sometimes given crap for being top tier. Like the "Any pikachu's that aren't asshats?!?!?!?!!??" thread.

Just my humble opinion.

this guy has a good point. kirby is harder to use well than... oh, let's pick any character... falcon. You don't even have to think to 0-kill as falcon, upsmash/grab followed by 12 uairs followed by YES. you can do it in your sleep.

Now try doing 0-kill combos with kirby. uptilt does not 0-kill. if it does to you then you really suck at 64.


tl;dr - kirby is not as gay as people make him out to be.

Some people who bash Kirby bash him for the fun of it (me for example). I don't think he is an excessively easy-to-use character, and a Kirby player that spams up-tilt is fairly simple to beat (just don't get hit by up-tilt). It's just Kirby is soo easy and fun to bash on, I do it for the fun.

Same as brawl... I play it, I enjoy it, but I love bashing it

Actually pikachu belongs to the same category as Kirby (too good)

The difference is: Pikachu actually takes some skill to do some combos and other stuff, on the other hand, even my little 5 years old cousin can use Kirby, and his utilt is sooo broken its not even funny

playing as kirby against fox is my favourite matchup, shorthop triple laser is the most broken **** in the game, playing against kirby on the other hand make my head ache.

you have to constantly focus on avoiding one single move that has a huge hitbox, insane dmg and combos into itself, get hit once and you end up at 60-70 % if you are even remotely heavy. now if you manages to do that you have to avoid all his other moves that combos into the super broken move =)

tl;dr, kirby is broken, dont get hit
