Kirby Air Ride 2?

I've always enjoyed playing Kirby Air Ride 1. And to this day would appreciate a sequel. A lot of people thought this series was dead. But Smash 4 shows that there is still hope for a sequel.

A big one being Smash Run and how it works. Basically a mode from Kirby Air Ride ( City Trial If I recall) you have to go around the map, collecting powerups to get a boost for the final battle.

The biggest one In Smash 4 has to be Rosalina's trailer. Take a look :

Kirby's appearance is, although nice, very unnecessary. That whole trailer made barely any sense to be quite honest. Why is it MK? I find it odd. The only thing I can think of is Rosalina's recent addition to MK.

Why would Kirby even be here? The trailer would go on perfectly without him. He was practically useless. Unless they were trying to hint at something.

And lastly the Kirby air ride music playing on. I maybe overlooking this. But I really hope they could make a remake with an online addition.

I'd like a squeal as much as everyone else, Kirby's Air Ride was a childhood classic for me and I'm glad that so many people have discovered this game and realized how great it was, but for now this exists entirely in the realm of the hypothetical.

Yeah, but that doesn't really explain him racing around with the Warp star with the city trial music playing.

I think both the trailer and the mode Smash Run are just callbacks to Kirby Air Ride & the fact Sakurai made the Kirby series. Kirby might be there just to have a couple cute scenes with Luma.

For a sequel to Kirby Air Ride, I'm all for it. It's one of my favorite GCN games and I definitely want to see a continuation of it with more playable characters besides three of them.

I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel for this game. I liked it, so yeah. I don't think it will happen anytime soon though.

Yeah, I agree. Maybe one day it will happen, but not now.
