Kirby 2010-2011

I herd many rummors about a kirby game coming to wii. They started making a gamecube one but it didn't get released. I think they are going to make a kirby wii game like that one and release it on wii! thoughts?

You mean that Kirby game they acconced for the Gamecube back in '05 (or was it '04?) but besides a few screen shots when they anouced it we've seen nothing of it in roughly 5-6 years? Yeah, it's probably not comming out this year. Or the next. Or the next. Or the next....

I think we should just call this game "Kirby's Dreamland Forever."

I'd be happy but it was also listed for 2009 last year and then 2008 before that.
I've been waiting for this game ever since they showed that trailer years ago.

I'll have hope that they're still making it once they actually show us new screens or footage.
And if they really are still making it, hopefully the 4 player co-op idea still makes it in.

Not that I want to sound pessimistic but by this point a new Kirby game is exactly like a new Star Fox or F-Zero game for me: I'll believe it when I see concrete proof and not a moment before. We're way past time for all 3 to shine again

Seriously, Nintendo can be as bad as Sega when it comes to neglecting their franchises in some cases.

I mean come on! They can put out a billion Mario and Zelda games but they won't put out a new Star Fox, F-Zero, Donkey Kong (PROPER), ect. for the Wii? Seriously guys... pretty lame.

I agree. F Zero on the GC was awesome, and it could be 10 times better with updated graphics + Wi-Fi.

I actually like the way Kirby gameplay has been like. I don't know how well they could pull off a Kirby game like that. I feel that sidescrolling is more of Kirby's strong point. There hasn't been a full standard 3D Kirby game yet, so Nintendo can still prove me wrong.

Kirby 64 was the whole reason I ever got into Kirby.
