This is the second iteration of SN Fro's Smash Ultimate house tournament, Kings of the Swamp!

When - Saturday, May 11th - Doors open at 2:00 p.m.
On-site registration and friendlies/money matches until 4:00 p.m.
Singles begin at 4:30 p.m., no exceptions
Doubles will take place after singles, 8 teams minimum (if time permits)
Where - Eric's house: 192 South Winona Ave., Lake Alfred, FL 33850
PLEASE carpool if possible. Parking will be limited.
The house is on a large corner lot and parking in the yard and street is permitted, but space is still limited.
Entry Fees -
$5 Venue Fee
$5 Singles - Double elimination (May change to Round Robin format if less than 10 entrants)
$3 Doubles, per player ($6 per team) - Double Elimination
This is a new tournament series that we hope to grow into something great.
The venue fee goes straight towards food and drink for attendees as well as the betterment of facilities for future events.

Other notes:
Within walking distance of the venue, there is a Dunkin Donuts and several dollar/convenience store options as well as an ATM, if necessary.
While outside food and drink is permitted, please be respectful of Eric's home and clean up after yourselves.
Going along with that, any theft WILL NOT be tolerated. Period.
Again, NO exceptions will be given to anyone who arrives after 4:30 p.m.
You will be removed from bracket and if you preregistered, your money will either be forfeited or transferred to the next event.

Set Procedure:
All sets will be Best-of-5 format, unless there are over 24 entrants. If there are >24 entrants, best-of-3 will be used until top 8, then best-of-5 for the remaining games.
- Players select their characters. Either player may elect to do Double Blind Character Selection (refer to TO if necessary)
- Use Starter Stage Striking to determine the first stage (Rock/Paper/Scissors for first strike)
- The players play the first game of the set
- The winning player of the preceding game bans 2 stages. The losing player of the preceding game picks a stage for the next game.
- The winning player of the preceding game must announce their character selection for the next game first.
- The losing player of the preceding game must announce their character selection for the next game.
- The next game is played.
- Repeat Steps 4 through 8 for all subsequent games until the set is complete.
