Title: Kingdom Hearts: 358/2
Platform: DS
Relase: unknown

Story:
Twilight Town.
As always, Roxas and Axel are watching the sun from the clock tower.
Their mission as members of the Organization: find and destroy Heartless, and collect their hearts.
And at the end of that mission, they always meet up at that clock tower, eat ice-cream together and chat about the day's missions.

"Do you know why the evening sun is red? It's because light has lots of colours, and of all of those, red reaches us from the furthest away."
"What're you getting all proud about, Axel?"

Two who should not have hearts, continuing to engage in their exclusive conversation.
This is the untold story of Roxas's time in Organization XIII...

In single player mode, go and explore all of the Disney worlds! Then in multiplayer mode, go and do missions with your friends!
Trailer Summary
The trailer starts from the scene where re:COM ended, afterwards the words "The other side attached to Sora still sleeps" and "The mind comes back whenever they touch." The scene then moves to Twilight Town, where Roxas, and Axel are sitting on the edge, as seen in KH2FM+.

Soon the trailer switches to Roxas being invited to the Organization XIII, and introduced to them, which soon cuts out to another scene of Roxas joining the Organization for the first time. Soon the scene then switches to the King talking about Axel, and Saix with Roxas pulling out his keyblade, moving into gameplay.

The gameplay features Roxas fighting with other Organization Members in a multiplayer game. This one confirms the allowance of being able to play as Roxas, Axel, Saix and Xigbar.

The scene then switches to Xemnas talking towards other Organization members. Xemnas explains that a 14th member has joined the Organization, and the 14th member appears to be a female, wearing a black hood. Soon the title comes up as "Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days"

You can then hear Roxas in the background saying "I will disappear from this world in 151 days"

The theme for this game is "time of the other side".

I'm not happy with this. or the other game on the psp. it's secluding too much of the original fan base that DOES NOT OWN THESE PLATFORMS.

of course I could be the onyl one that feels this way.
I kind of agree. I don't buy a lot of games for the DS and don't own a PSP at all. But the PS2 is finally winding down (kind of) so it's expected that major releases will end up on the newer platforms. Still, I was going to buy a PSP anyways this just makes it certain.

no no im fine with it being on the newer platforms, but im aiming for these home consoles like PS3 and Wii(just throwing that out there Wii and Xbox 360 are a lot more popular than PS3) im just mad at these handheld sequels. the game have usually been on the bigger consoles so I'd assume thats where most of the fanbase lies.

I'm not saying theres anything wrong with handhelds but I'd bet more people have a big console and and a hand held or just a big console as opposed to just a handheld. know what I mean?

i loved KH:CoM dunno what you're talking about TGM.

Well, i'd beg to differ about more people having a console. That's certainly true of the PS2, but that's winding down, and it'll have much less of an install base by the time these come out. They're not going on PS3, they're not developed enough i'm sure for that. and have you seen how many DS systems have sold? I don't knlow how many millions, but i imaine it's at least 20. and it'll be more by the time these come out

wait no, it's nearly 30 million for the DS lite only. I'd say it's a fairly smart move since a lot more DS's are out there than PS3s or even Wiis.

I see what you mean but think of it this way, it isn't really uncommon in the industry. Zelda TP was for consoles but Phantom Hourglass is for handhelds. These game will have a shorter development time than KH3 and serve as a sort of appetizer for the fans.

The "real" KH3 will arrive for the PS3 or Wii someday but with the KH team currently working on FF Versus its going to be awhile.

In the meantime I'm kind of iffy on the DS version. The PSP game directly relates to the secret vid at the end of KH but the DS game smells of Roxas fanservice.

true, and Im really not al;l that curious about roxas. did u hear about the mobile phone game they are making? Kingdom Hearts coded is set after the events of KH2 and focuses primarily on King Mickey. I have little faith in it.

I'm just happy I get another chance to play another Kingdom Hearts game despite not owning any Sony systems ^_^

I'm still eagerly hoping for the original Kingdom Hearts to port over to Wii....

Ay, along with Beautiful Katamari (which has already been confirmed as Wii-bound), Kingdom Hearts is one of the three games that make me lust after other systems, the only game remaining being Dead Rising...

I'm sincerely hoping the 358/2 has all of the Organization as playable characters.
I want my Vexen!!
Other than that, I'm super excited for it, because I have a DS and have been waiting for some worthwhile games to start popping up on it.

That amazes me. They bring the lame character to the DS, and bring the most popular character from the series to...mobile phones. Just when I thought the Kingdom Hearts crew couldn't do anything more to really milk the franchise(like they needed to, any game with Mickey Mouse AND Square characters is going to be a hit), they pull yet even more side stories out of their ***.

Well, one positive thing I got out of this is that if multiplayer is available in the DS version, it could be a possibility in Kingdom Hearts 3. I have my doubts on this too, but I'm trying to be optimistic here.
