It's possible that I will be using a combination of swiss and double elimination bracket.

And for some reason, AiB is not loading from here.

It's another tournament format, in this case used for seeding.

Players of equal records play each other for several rounds, and the top players at the end of swiss will advance to a double elimination bracket. The point is that you're paired off with someone that's doing as well (or as poorly) as you are.

To give an example, let's say there are eight participants of a tournament. Everyone has a record of 0 wins and 0 losses, or 0-0.

After one round, four people will have a record of 1-0, and four will have a record of 0-1. The players with 1-0 will play a player in the same pool while the same happens for players in the 0-1 pool. Then you will have players with a 2-0 record, 1-1 record, or 0-2 record. It goes on and so forth until the amount of rounds you're allowed to play ends. The more rounds you play, the more accurate the seeding will be.

Finally, the TO will choose the top players - say the top four in this example, and those four players are placed in a DE bracket to finish it off.
