I play. Or rather "played"... I haven't had much time to work on my other fighters in quite a while. But I used Kula, Iori, and Maxima, with a bit of Gato and Vanessa on the side.

But god Oswald is awesome.

Man i have been looking for KOF players i dont know how long, i played a little of kof XI its hella sick, i like using kula, ash, oswald,shen,benimaru,k', kyo, iori, and a few others, anyone play KOF 2006 for ps2?

Oh man, yeah I've played it before but not like pro at it. I know that pros spam Kula and Gato, because they're top tier. But yeah man I've seen some insane **** done with Dream Cancelling o_o.

Only certain characters dream cancel well, like Iori, Oswald, Gato.

Pros are unfair, they spam Momoko's and Malin's combos.
I spam Oswald, but I do different combinations off of his spade. Combos like: Spade, club, Daimond or spade, spade, club, heart, heart.

Or the best combo in the game with Oswald:
lp, lp, club, spade, spade, club, heart xx flush super xx Dream Joker

I believe all the character can dream cancel, you can go to youtube and find dream cancel vids. Dream canel is when you do a DM, desperation move, and cancel it to do your LDM, Leader desperation Move. Example, Kula, if you do her diamond edge, DM, then cancel it and go into her LDM which is her frezzing execution, thats a dream cancel. To dream cancel you need 3 stocks and both your skill meters.

P.S. i been trying to look for a KOf XI machine, anyone know where i can find one thats close by me, I live in Antioch, CA only one i found was one in san Jose State University.

I read a news article saying that in KOFXII they're FINALLY going to draw new sprites for each character. It's about frigging time.

I played KOF since 02 (my second favorite KOF).
My KOF 02 team is: Rugal, Kula, Terry (in that order)
compared to my KOF XI team: Jazu, K' (or Kula), Gato (L)

I understand why Gato is up there, but Kula is a little confusing to me. Cummon she doesn't even special cancel.

Duolon should be higher and Silber should be lower.

Who here hates Ralf & Clark?

every character can super cancel, if you kula's crow bites, and cancel it fast enough before she goes in the air, you can super cancel it and go into her diamond egde, level 1 i prefer. It also depends on the combo you do, you meet not have to super cancel. And i think that she top tier cause if the damage and ez to do combos. her combos r ez to connect, i am a stright kula player, and to me shes ez, to play, no doubt.

d+D, f+A xx qcb+P, qcf+P, QS (Jazu), incoming j.C, st.A, st.C, hcb, f+P, QS (Kula), incoming j.C, c.C, qcb+B, f+D, st.A, 2x hcb+E

100% combo, that is easy and doesn't stun.

anyway, haven't played any of the stuff that came after 2k3 though lately i've been addicted to 98 and 2k2 netplay through the miracle of mame so... yeah

7zip is superior (especially if you're some sort of open-source zealot but it wins either way) and takes all of 5 seconds to get and set up

just give me a shout on msn sometime and i could explain the deal with getting kof on the interweb and such

and if there's one disappointing thing about 2k2 it's the lack of king and jhun, though at least the wondrous yamazaki/joe/kensou team prevails through hardship and manages to appear in both like true champions
