Kicking up and the explosive kick

Now, this might be entirely me, sorry if it is, but do these sometimes not work for you?

I'll switch between up smash and up tilt, and the move doesn't go.
Sometimes the move doesn't work at all, sometimes it'll do the wrong move.

Like, I do up smash and it does the up tilt, and vise versa.
It only happens with Ganon as well.

Sorry if this is in the wrong area as well, new to these forums.

On 3DS especially online the game just does things. So I feel your pain.

I mean even on Wii U online the game sometimes decides you already used your second jump.
