Kiby's copy ability

Ahem new characters of course means new stuff for kirby... tell me what character ur looking forward to seeing kiby look like! what i rly want to see is what he looks like when he's swallows meta knight either he'll look like meta knight with a sword and everythign but instead hes pink! orrr.... he can get his tornado hat from his GBA games since metaknights standard B move is a tornado.

He should have the same appearance when he copies the veterans' B attacks as he has done in the last two Smash Bros. Here's what i think he should look like when he swallows the newcomers:

Wario - Wario's biker hat
Pit - Pit's hair + headband or the headband on it's own
Zero-Suit Samus - Zero-Suit Samus' hair
Metaknight - Metaknight's face mask/helmet or whatever it is
Ike - Ike's hair
Diddy Kong - Diddy's Nintendo cap

Pokemon from the Pokemon Trainer I'm not sure of

Great link Sam. Let's jut hope that they help him out out some more. Maybe he should be able to combine them like he was able to in Kirby 64, though how they would work it out I don't know exactly...but that is their job lol.

Hmmm nice video... i like rayman, ike, smake, and feirce deity link i recognized that immidiatly i never even thought of him in brawl... that'd be coool!

It's going to be weird having Kirby Inhale Meta Knight or King Dedede. I know this is Super Smash Brothers, so the characters aren't exactly carbon copies of their actual counterparts, but resistance to being inhaled is supposed to be one of Meta Knight's unknown mysteries. I wonder if Sakurai will prevent this from happening, but then instate a different advantage for Kirby to compensate.

how will kirby look when he swallows one of Pokemon Trainers Pokemon? Will he take one the characteristics of that Pokemon, or will he just take on PT's hat? Thoughts?

That would be stupid if he did take on the Pokemon Trainer's hat. I'd assume that he'd have a hat for each of the pokemon; why not?

well if he'd take on the PK trainers hat then he to would be in the sidelines with his own set of pokemon however i doubt thatd happen because hes not swallowing the trainer hes swallowing the pokemon

I thought about that. One of my ideas is this. You know how your vacuum can start sucking up your rug and you have to violently tug it free? Well, I came up with this;

Since Galaxia or King Dedede's hammer isn't exactly a part of the character per se, Kirby could inhale that instead. Though they wouldn't be pulled from the character's hands, Meta Knight/King Dedede would be struggling to pull it out of Kirby's mouth. If Kirby copies it, as the animation is executed the weapon then tumbles out of him at the same time and instantly back into their hands. Thus it'd still have all of the same properties as before and the characters will be close enough to Kirby as not to result in any complications. (Such as Kirby getting hit away just as he copies it, thus having Meta Knight losing Galaxia.)

The other ideas mostly involve Kirby getting some form of compensation exclusively against Meta Knight and King Dedede, but I rather avoid character-specific advantages so I won't get into that.

Hmmmm.... It's possible that Meta Knight could be invulnerable to being swallowed by Kirby however... thats a huge disadvantage to Kirby and I don't think Sakurai would do that... if it does happen that way... i'll be pissed!

But it just wouldn't be Kirby if he couldn't copy his opponents ability! and you never know... with the whole new adventure mode with a story... well they could clear up that whole mystery now couldn't they? the story does seem to be a bit centered on Meta Knight...

I didn't know they confirmed Kiby. That means Kribry is a shoe-in!

But I definatly like ALL of the Kirby costumes in that Gif^^^

I REALLY want to see Snake. It will probably be something simple like a headband (like in the youtube video), but I hope for him with a cig. And with Kirby's lungs, he will be a heavy smoker =P. And just a comment for the youtube video, not a lot of characters actually going to be in Brawl are in that.
