It’s almost enough to make you cry “Ouendan!” E3’s tomorow and there’s a flurry of rumors and “leaks” regarding what we’re going to hear about tomorow. One of them has spoken to N-Europe regarding Mario Kart. “What’s this?” I hear you ask, “How does our beloved Mario Kart relate to Brawl? Super Smash Kart perhaps?” Sadly, no, though that’s perhaps a topic to come back to one day. It really relates to how much Nintendo can carry on one plate. Or more specifically, how much it can bring out of the kitchen at once.

Mario Kart Wii (if that IS your real name) will be gracing Europe in Late 07 instead of the Early 08 like the US. Sounds like good news, fellow PAL teritories? Sadly, not. (Though if you really like Mario Kart…) The trade off to getting Mario Kart before the US is to get Smash Brawl in 08, instead of 07 like the US. What supports this theory is what Patrick Nagel, Deputy Marketing Manager for Nintendo Germany, said in early June., which was that Europe can expect to see Metroid Prime 3 and Mario Kart in 2007.
While it’s totally unconfirmed, it pretty much reassures PAL teritories that we aren’t going to be seeing Smash before the end of the year. At least we get Mario Kart as a consolation. If only the below track was in it ;_;
