I've been playing Smash since 64. I mostly skipped Smash 4 since I didnt buy a WiiU. But the only game I played seriously in the past was Melee. That said, I felt the need to take it to the next level when Ultimate came out. I decided to play Ultimate competitively. Sort of as a way to show that 20+ years of gaming wasn't wasted time. Anyway, I main Pokemon Trainer and my GSP is trash currently because for some reason Nintendo neglected to add an ethernet port to the Switch and my Wifi is spotty at best despite being 3 feet from the router. So I catch bans every day just from trying to practice thanks to frequent connection errors. So I figured the best thing I could do is find someone to fight who isnt on Quickplay so I can avoid losing what little GSP I have from constantly "disconnecting." If you want to fight me let me know, I don't mind am uphill battle. I hope to meet all of you on the field of battle.

Hello Karen, welcome!

If you're looking for people to play you should check this thread:

I agree, not having an ethernet port on the switch sucks but in case you didn't know, you can buy a USB/ethernet adapter, something like this:
https://www.amazon.ca/AmazonBasics-...ocphy=9000272&hvtargid=pla-346472056999&psc=1

I haven't tested it myself but i hear it helps.

See you around!
