kaillera client flagged by avira

avira just alerted me that kaillera client.dll is a virus. It's reasoning was a suspicious build of the file which is characteristic of malware.

Is this a normal thing, or is the kailleraclient.dll I got infected?

its a normal thing for avira to think random stuff is infected when its completely safe

Lol actually some antivirus/antisypware programs detect it as a trojan horse generic. False alarm...

Also, this happens only with the old kaillera, but not on the most popular kaillera version (November 1 2007)

if you redownload project 64k then it should be the new one, if it was recently downloaded (Sub 1 year ago I believe) then you do not need to.

Most popular U.S. server is Galaxy64, something I posted on the other topic you mad.e

Anyways, back on topic...

If you are worried about the kaillera you have being a virus, just download a different one. The one I often use (or used... don't know which one I'm using now lol) is the one that is liked to in the smash index.

If multiple kailleras are flagged as a virus, then you know it's just avira flagging random stuff

avira FLAGS supraclient only in my experiece. this happens if you download my mupen from megaupload. it still has supraclient in it cuz I uploaded it long time ago. I don't have any supraclient(renamed as kaillera.dll or kailleraoriginal.dll of course) on my comp anymore though.

but i don't use avira anymore so maybe it FLAGS normal kaillera now too
