Let's face it, mario and king k rool both have impressive spikes in this game. Fair/Bair
But out of these hype and rage inducing dunks, who would you say has the better dunk? Our kingliness of kremling kutthroats? Or mr. nintendo and king of video games himself?

I'd say Mario's. It's useful in a lot more situations, whereas King K. Rool's only useful when you're offstage and your opponent is behind you. It also has an 18-frame startup, which is slower than Mario's and lasts a shorter time than Mario's. The use for King K-Rool's b-air has a very niche use. If K-Rool wants to spike, he should almost always use d-air instead.

How are we defining better?

Mario’s is more useful. Lower startup lag, telegraphs less (don’t have to turn around backwards) and easier to execute off short hop

k rool‘s is more fun because the fat croc dunk animation is perfect

K Rool on hype alone.

K Rool might not be highly ranked in the professional scene, but he is just one of the most fun characters in the game and his back air part of that
