I'd just like to know some necessary character specific tech and things to be focused on when I'm playing Snake. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Just picked up Snake DAAAMN, what are the essentials?

The essentials are your general fundamentals for Smash-spacing, edgeguarding, mindgames, neutral, etc.

You got it! And I already started to use the Snake Flash more often!
The Snake Flash is not an essential tool. It's cool and all, and props for learning it, but it's very situational. Focus on nailing your defensive game, grenade manipulation, OoS options, explosive traps, DACUSing, sticky setups, and most importantly, PUNISH HARD. Snake's neutral game isn't the best, so making the most of every grab/Up-B/Dair/sticky/etc is huge.
