Oh I seeThis was shown in a PotD back in Spring I believe.
A cool bit of info, but if you're playing random it's pretty pointlessAnother small heads up - Random is chosen when the random is selected. Most simply in the demo (due to the small roster) you can flip through a character's colors, and if one is missing, that's your opponent.
So no more incredibly unlikely matches where two players have the same character and the same palette like in Brawl? Damn.Another small heads up - Random is chosen when the random is selected. Might just be a quirk of the 3DS version, or even of the demo. Just something my friends and I noticed in multiplayer, he couldn't select Goggleschu until I turned off the CPU. When that went off, he could select it again. We tried later without re-selecting, and as expected, the unselectable character/color was in the match. So no more incredibly unlikely matches where two players have the same character and the same palette like in Brawl? I'm blaming the frequency on the roster's limited size on the demo. I'm a Megaman main on the demo, and a friend of mine and I were playing, and he made me prove to him by showing the screen that I was picking Random and not Megaman, since I landed on him four times in a row.Huh. That's actually kind of obnoxious if it keeps you from choosing the combination you wanted.
I chalked it up to luck, but a few times when playing matches in a row without changing anything in the character select screen, random has resulted in the same character/palette up to five times in a row.
