Melee Ruleset (Apex 2014 Rulset) linked HERE with the following change:
*Modified DSR - Player may not return to a stage if they LAST won on it, but may return to any stage otherwise.

Project M Ruleset (APEX 2014 Ruleset) linked HERE with modification to stage picks:

Project M Stage Picking:
Bottom two rows on page 1 are legal except Pokemon Stadium 1, instead, Norfair is legal.

1. For game one, bottom row (neutral) stages are used. Players alternate banning on this row until 1 stage is reached with the # of bans equal to 1-2-2-1 respectively.
2. For game 2, the winner of the previous match bans 3 stages.
3. Winner then bans 3 stages from this row and loser counterpicks from the remaining stages.
4. For game 3 repeat steps 2 and 3.
*Modified DSR - Player may not return to a stage if they LAST won on it, but may return to any stage otherwise.

***Disclaimer***
Please do not split prize money at these tournaments and be sure to play out all sets to the fullest of your ability. Prizes are not final until the tournament has officially finished. If it comes to my attention that splitting has taken place, prize money must be forfeited to the next highest legitimately placing entrant. Repeat offenders are subject to exclusion from future ECE events.

Hey all,

Why the change in stage picking? Just wondering.

Step (3) is confusing because step (2) says nothing about the winner or loser picking a row

I'll be here (as of now) with a setup. Can be PM or Melee. Do you need extension cords and power strips?

Is anyone streaming this or is the venue/TO wanting to have this streamed? If that is something we want to pursue, somebody message me. www.twitch.tv/supersmashbroswiiu is where you can find my channel and past broadcast samples. Thanks.

**Edit: If somebody could contact me either way, yes or no, that way I am not left on the fence until the tourney that would be swell. Cheers.

I will be able to come with a full setup and powerstrip, but I can't get there until around 4. Would I still be able to register for the PM tournament?

Registration closes before the tournament (~15 min prior), so yes.
