NASA, North Austin Smash Attack, the newly founded Smash Crew that's outta this world, is hosting it's first weekly on June 30th. This an open invitation event, so please feel free to invite along anyone who wants to play.

We'll be launching from the Eagle's Nest.

TIME:
Tournament play begins at 7:30pm, but feel free to show up before hand for friendlies, coaching, socializing, practice, etc.
SETUPS:
BYOB (no Alcohol), BYOController, BYOSetup.
We have 3 CRTs and 2 Digital TVs available for set ups, but we need Tables and Console set ups to go with them. If you can, please bring with you a full setup (TV is optional).
Depending on if we have enough time or people or not, there might not be an entry free, and thus, no prize. But if so...
ENTRY INFO:
Singles: $1 per person
Doubles: $2 per team ($2 per person)
PAYOUT:
1st: 60%
2nd: 30%
3rd: 10%
TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
The doubles tournament and singles tournament will be a double elimination bracket with all finals and semi finals best 2 out of 3.
STAGE/CHARACTER SELECTION RULES:
For the 1st match, stage strike the starter list in 1-2-2-1 fashion. After each match, the winner of the previous match bans 3 stages (Players may counter pick a stage that they previously banned in the set, but may not counter pick a stage on which they won). The player who lost the previous match chooses a stage, then the player who won chooses their character, then the player who lost chooses their character.
The Tournament shall be for Project M, but please feel free to bring along Melee or any other version of Smash as well.
