Get ready for the hype. Atlantic Extravaganza is back for the fourth time. We are now using a spacious gym fully equipped with a kitchen and dining area. Also you can find a lot of discussion about AEX at the Facebook event page, https://www.facebook.com/events/1592287180995426/

Tournament Information:

Venue Fee: $10
Singles Entry: $10
Doubles Entry: $10 ($5 per teammate)

Payouts 60/30/10

(Fees will not be changed and are final.)

Registration/Warm-Ups: 11am - 12pm
Melee Doubles & PM Singles: 12:30pm
Melee Singles & PM Doubles: 3pm

Please Note - Melee Doubles & PM Singles registration cuts off at 12pm sharp. We will not be able to make exceptions for people who are tardy. Since Melee Singles & PM Doubles starts up two and a half hours after doubles, we can make exceptions for those brackets only, but after they are made (2:30pm est) we cannot modify them.

We will be following APEX standard rule sets.

We will also be holding a fundraiser during the tournament, and all of the money donated will go directly to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation. This is something that has been mentioned shortly after the tournament was announced, and we only decided to implement it after our big meeting. Since all of the prices have already been announced for venue and bracket fees, this is how we plan on holding the fundraiser:
-Food and drinks will remain free of charge, however we will leave a tip jar at kitchen counter and the dining area. We urge those who eat to leave a small donation.
-We will have a jug at the registration table and will ask for donations there as well.
-We will also leave a jar or some type of receptacle at the brackets table in the actual playing area used for donations.
-Lastly, any type of profit made from the venue fee (after the venue and expenses are paid off) will be directly donated to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation.

We will be providing food and drinks for everyone who attends, no payment other than the venue fee is necessary to eat.

Also if anyone is interested, we have results and a few pictures from AEX 3:

Hey guys, the following is important tournament information that has been updated:

All times have stayed exactly the same, however the order of the events have changed. Melee Doubles and PM Singles will now start up at the exact same time at 12:30, and Melee Singles and PM Doubles will start at 3pm. We have done this to try and avoid the unusually large lull between doubles and singles that seems to be inevitable, also it will make players more available to play tournament matches. Registration for Melee Singles and PM doubles will remain open until about 2:30pm, while Melee Doubles and PM Singles will close at 12pm sharp.

Another big and important updated is that we will be holding a fundraiser during the tournament, and all of the money donated will go directly to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation.

Thanks, and I can't wait for June 21st!
(I have also updated this information on the original post)

Also, are we expecting a huge turnout or is this going to be a smaller venue?
Right now we are estimating around 50-70 people, and our venue is pretty spacious. we might not use all of the space, but we also have a kitchen and dining area that we're able to use.
I'm hyped you guys! Thanks for showing interest and I'll you 2 weeks from today ;D
