Jump Canceling Grabs for the "Y" user

Now I recently had just started trying to Jump Cancel my grabs but noticed something in particular. Considering that I use Y to jump instead of X, it was extremely awkward switching from Y to Z due to how close they are on the GCN controller. The only other option I could think of doing was to Tap Jump my grabs. To all the Y users out there, do you have any other solutions or advice for how to jump cancel easily?

what exactly is it that you are having trouble with? and if using X feels more comfortable, then just use that for jump cancelled grabs and Y to jump regularly

Yeah, I don't quite understand the problem...

You're saying it's awkward to JC grab with Y because it's too close? I'm the exact opposite, haha, I shffle with X and JC grab with Y...

If X is more comfortable just use X, there's nothing wrong with mixing it up a bit as long as you're comfortable.

Ok, I was just wondering if I should mix it up or anything and I guess I should. Well anyways, I'll try using X to jump cancel grabs and see if that works.

For the record, I use Y to jump but X to JC grab.
