Jump-Cancel Up Smash Out of Shield

Hey guys, found a small little technique that could help with our Up smash punishes. Jump cancelling your up smash out of shield.

What you do is hold shield, hold up and then jump and immediately press A. You'll skip the shield-drop frames and immediately up-smash. You could do this in Brawl by just up smashing out of shield instantly, but I couldn't replicate it in Smash 4 until I jumped.

I'm... pretty sure this was in every game. With every character. You jump to cancel shield without the shield drop frames, and up smash during the jump squat. It's easy and direct with tap jump on, but you have to press jump if you have it off.

Examples of OoS moves

• Any jump-canceled up smash can be used from shield except for Yoshi's. Many are not usually useful, as they're either too slow or have too short of horizontal reach to hit an attacking opponent out of shield. Some though can be especially effective.
