The eighteenth Spicy Spot is approaching! The Spicy Spot is the Tampa biweekly event held at Oldschool Videogames, at which we host tournaments for Super Smash Bros. Melee, Project M, and WiiU.

Venue fee - $5
(including entry and drink)
Tourney fee - $5 each

No customs. Also, I'm pretty sure Spicy's taking a hiatus, don't expect to see one July 3rd or even July 17th; they're taking a break to move venues and evolve.

How many people usually show up to this tourney?

I'm sorry, I just realized I never responded to your comment. We normally have about 120 with all three games, but because the turnout was too large, we've had to split the games. On average, I'd say we get about 80 for Melee/PM and 60-70 for Smash 4.

Also, remember guys. This event has a charity edge to it as well as 10% of the pot will go towards Leo Heart & Co's Recovery Fund as they met with an unfortunate accident on their way to CEO from Miami. Not this weekend. Instead, there's an EVO watch party on Saturday. After this weekend, there will be Melee/PM on Friday evenings, and Smash 4 on Saturday afternoons. Still biweekly.
