---GameUphoria First Smash 4 Tournament---​

-Intro-
We are a game store located in Washington Missouri attempting to jump start our local Smash Bros. community and to bring gamers together to socialize. We host a variety of tournaments at our store on a monthly basis and are now starting up our SSB 4 tourneys. If this tournament goes well with a decent amount of people, we will hopefully be running Smash tournaments here on a monthly basis.

-Schedule-

11AM- Registration for both events begins
- Systems will be opened for friendlies at this time​

11:45 - Signup for Smashketball closes​

12PM- 2v2 Smashketball Side Event Begins (Single Elimination)​

1:45 - Signup for Main 1v1 Double Elimination Tournament closes
PM​

2PM - Main 1v1 Double Elimination Smash 4 Tournament Begins

Smashketball: $2 Per team

Payout:

1st(50%)
2nd(30%)
3rd(20%)​

1v1 Tournament: $5 Entry Fee ($4 to the pot,$1 Venue Fee)

-Rules-Smashketball:

• Will be played on the custom Smashketball stage
• 3 Stock
• 6 Minutes
• Custom Moves will be on but limited to the EVO Custom Rule Set (See Bottom of Post)
• Items wil be set to Home Run Bat and Medium
• Team attack will be on
• Pause will be turned off
• Each Set will be 1 Match
• Single Elimination

1v1 Tournament:

General Rules:

• 3 Stock
• 8 Minutes
• Custom Moves will be on but limited to the EVO Custom Rule Set (See Bottom of Post)
• Items Will be set to OFF and NONE
• Pause will be turned Off
• Each Set will be Best of 3 Matches, with Best of 5 for Semi's, Finals, and Loser's Finals
• Double Elimination

Set Procedure:

1. Port Priority and Fist Stage Strike may be agreed upon or Rock-Paper-Scissors'ed for. If you choose one, your opponent gets the other
2. Character Selection
3. Strike Stages From the Neutral Stage list in a 1-2-1 Order
4. Play First Match
5. Winner Bans a Stage from the full tournament list
6. Loser Announces the Stage
7. Winner Picks Character
8. Loser Picks Character
9. Loop Until the Set has a Victor

Stage List:

• Neutral Stages: Final Destination, Battlefield, Smashville, Town and City, Lylat Cruise
• Counter pick Stages: Halberd, Delfino Plaza, Duck Hunt, Castle Siege, Omega Stages (If Final Destination Is Banned, so are all Omega Stages)

As A store we are still relatively new to the Smash Community. These rules are tentative and may change as the tournament gets closer. Please bear with us.

Shouldn't winner of first match get 2 strikes? Generally how its done unless you meant for it to be this way. Also is there any intention of adding the rule where the loser of a match cannot counter pick a stage they have already won on in that set?

Those are the only questions I have off the top of my head.

Also want to note that I'm suuuper happy you are doing 3 stock and not 2.
