Im banned on galaxy64 for no reason at all again so I was playing on the japanese server (Got one of the japanese guys to play normal DI smash with me) and we were doing Ness vs Jigglypuff, He had me to 100% and used a uair when i was by the wall and i di'd into the wall bounced off and then i hit Rest right on him. Has anyone ever came up with that as a trick? Because it could work with any B move because i used frame advance on mupen with it and normal attacks in air don't work, like fox's uair for example. You can shine faster then the uair will and you got to have fast move. I think its be very useful with jigglypuff and luigi.

Heres a tip @ your ban. Get dynamic IP, reset your router and your ip is changed, so the ban is useless.
Of course you may change your nickame aswell, and behave correctly xD

Done that lots of times. I have been banned for about 1 and half years all together from the past 3 years. I know. He banned my IP RANGE. Idk why he wont unban me he said it would just be for a day and its been about 4 days now. Also i have been behaving on galaxy64. I think him and koro just got it to ban me because koro wants a reason to ban me from tournament so i can't say he banned me cuz i r 2 1337

wait, so you rested while you were still in hitstun?

The knock back off the edge from me di'ing onto it, I canceled some frames that should still have been in place to make me wait till i could hit with the B move.

so couldnt that mean if you were fox, for example, and you di'ed into a ledge and spammed shine, you might have a shorter blast trajectory?

Try it. I think its how you di. I di'ed off the wall at a Down right angle then i puffed and in the jumping part i rested because i was still going up some and hit the bottom of him on his left side and he went Up right and didn't di because i guess he didn't expect it.

Firo banned you due to spam and TROLOLOLOLing

I asked him to unban you for the tournament and his response was no.

Hmm. I am guessing you Smash DI'd into the wall, bounced off and rested.

Against characters with 1 frame (or very low) start-up attacks, if you try a combo that isn't a true combo, then you can be punished by getting hit by your opponent's move instead (e.g. Luigi/Mario/DK/Samus Up-B (Pikachu's Up-B makes him escape the failed combo without giving damage to the opponent). Fox/Puff have down-B (shine and rest). It's a really useful tactic to DI into the wall to reduce your hitstun, then punish with one of the moves I mentioned (or other moves). Though that said, DI-ing against the wall doesn't instantly remove all of your hitstun (you can still be combo'd out of it, but you do get invincibility frames after hitting the wall, which can make it harder for opponents to continue their combo).

Luigi's and Mario's up-B is 3 frames, and DK's is 6 frames. For Luigi and Mario, their down-B is a better escape option, as it actually does have a 1 frame start up time.

Ok, I'm wrong :p

I knew Mario/Luigi had a 1 frame attack, I thought it was up-B, but I guess not :p

But the point is still the same. A fast enough attack can be used to punish opponent's messed up combos.

Why do you keep getting banned. There has to be a good reason, its cant NOT be your fault.

BUT the DI rest thing would work I think, and It would cause someone to cry and say HACKS if he's too stupid to understand.

I actually found that a few months ago and told House about it, but he didn't know what caused it at all...The only guess I have is that you somehow edgecancel your lag on the wall of the tent. If it was a regular wall, then no clue as to what causes it.

My favourite thing to do on newer people is time down-B while my opponent is comboing me when there will be a break in the combo. They get rested, and everyone watching acts as if I did something amazing (when really, it's not that amazing, but it's funny to do in front of people who haven't seen it before and watch their reaction) :p
