A-7 is an independent student organization at Penn State University who's goal is to find a cure for pediatric cancer. At the same time a large number of our members are really into Smash. Each year we have held an internal tournament, but have decided this year to extend the invitation to the entire Smash community. All are welcome.
Melee singles only
The tournament will be held at:
Simmon's Hall Piano Lounge
University Park, PA 16802
Starts at 1:00 PM and will go until finished.
Registration will begin at noon.
There will be a $5 entry fee. All proceeds will be donated to the Four Diamonds Fund.
Winner will be awarded the annual trophy
--------RULES---------------
- 4 Stock, 8 Minutes
- Double Elimination
- Items set to "Off" and "none."
- Stage set as Final Destination (unless both players agree on another stage)
- Quitting out of the match before it is over will result in a loss for the quitter
- Pausing during a match, unless okayed by the other player, will result in the loss of one stock for the pauser.
- If time runs out, the person with the most stock left (or least % if stock are equal) wins. If the % is equal as well or match goes to sudden death, play a 1 stock 3 minute match, same characters and stage.- No excessive stalling
- In the event the game crashes or power is lost, the match is to be restarted from the beginning. If the cause of the crash or power failure is determined to be caused by one of the involved players, that player forfeits the match.
