According to the Central PA Super Smash Bros facebook page the competition had 26 entrants last year and 11 people are already confirmed going.

No smash 4. Some people are bringing their 3DS's if you want to do friendlies.

I'm hoping for 30 people. Unfortunately I'm not sure how many people will be competing in PM.
