Jab 1 and it's relative safety.

The title says it all. What's your opinion on Jab 1? I use it out of perfect pivots from running into shield like it's a bread and butter move. IMO, it's an extremely good poking tool to rack up small damage, and usually surprises opponents in such a way that they can't react to the short endlag of the jab.

(It also comes out on frame 3 right? That's freaking fast!)

You still totally ignored the majority of the post's purpose. I still wanted your opinion on Jab 1 though, and how you used it, not just a link for hard data.

Like you said, I use it to rack up small damage, but other than that, I like ftilt better because of the range. Take my words with a grain of salt though, I'm still learning Samus and just picked her up last week
