Ivysaur JV 5 Stock

This has probably been asked before, but search function yielded no results.

Anyhow, if someone is in the process of a JV 5 stock (or JV 4) with Ivy and heals themselves after getting hit, is it still a JV 5 stock?

I think the general consensus is that a JV5 only counts if you never get hit, which generally means your % is at 0 the entire time. With Ivy being able to heal, I think Ivy still abides by the rule of never getting hit, so if you heal that means you got hit and did not get a JV5. However, I have heard some people say that a JV5 counts even if you are hit with something like Fox's laser a few times, but I think most people disagree with that.
