You could do that in Melee too... and items were banned from tournaments before they were confirmed for Brawl.

Didn't it have more cooldown in Melee and was hence less spammable (I have never claimed to be an items expert. I do not play with items on)?

Is there an official thread about fighting with items? I really wanna discuss about this.. I am tired of people complaining about items.. bunch of cowards..
