Items schmitems?

Ignore the title. Anyway, I know you guys don't use items (right?) so I just was wondering if anyone is going to ever use items in Brawl. Not all the time, but mabye just right when you get it to check them out, you know? I never use items either, but when I get the game I'm definetely going to check them out. What do you think?

I don't care if there on or off, but if the items are there either someone uses them against you or you use them against someone.

I don't need items to win but items put a nice twist to the game

Lately ive been getting kind of sick of items. But thats mainly because my friends don't let me turn off the really cheap ones.

When brawl comes out i'm definately keeping all items on for a while. Then i'll probably whittle them down to a select few that i like.

Items are always fun when you're playing with friends. But they really are nothing more than an annoyance in single player.

There are only ever rare times when I turn them OFF. I always keep them on, and usually all of them. When ever I turn items off, it's so I can play around with an item like PokeBalls or the Home Run Bat, and in that case, all the others are OFF. Playing without items is boring and dumb.

Fix'd. Anyway, I will try all items in the beginning, but I will usually end up with only Smash Ball.

Saying "you guys don't like to use items" is stereotyping. Not using them in tournaments doesn't mean they don't like them at all. I'll probably have them on but set them to low.

We rarely use items, mostly we just do free for all no items. Sometimes we use items when we get bored, though. But lately, our thing has been team matches. They are really quite fun.

I will use items until they finally lose their touch (meaning I finally use them until I can pretty much pick up an item then own the **** out of the foe with no problems). Then I would set items to low and turn everything off but a smash ball. I am NEVER going to get rid of the smashball.

I think that even Competitive games should leave Final Smashes on - Final Smashes are an important part of the game, and I imagine some characters that would otherwise be non competitive would gain a boost from having an above-average final smash.

And after hearing about ATs.. I can't imagine not playing with ATs.

I use Iteams for free for alls all the time, but never on one vs one.

Smash Balls, however, I might use alot.

I put items in because they're fun. I don't care about the whole "OMGZ UR CHETING UR USNG ITMS U JST GOT LUKY" IMO, taking items out is sort of like taking some fun out of the game.

Definatly going to use them for FFA's, and I definatly going to try out all the FS for a good while. Also, the Assist trophies look amazing, so I might actually use items for the first month I get the game (not including online play).

I'll probably play with items till I get bored of being SD'ed by exploding crates etc. Then maybe just smashballs or other items i like more, or if the crates etc can be turned off they will be...

P.S.- smashballs should definatly be used in tourneys, but set on low so they dont appear every time and dont mess with gameplay often like those tourney guys worry about so much.

Items? Yes, I'll probably go crazy with them the first few weeks. Experiment here and there, then change to no items if I feel like I've had enough of them for a while (which I doubt)
